Before all the great press and reception for Borderlands I thought it looked downright stupid with its weird graphics and odd looking guns. After I played it, it has easily become one of my fav games of all time.

If the reviews continue like this I have to admit this is yet another Shadow of Mordor, a game I had assumed was going to be mediocre at best and was completely proven wrong. This generation is shaping up to be a weird one, it's almost getting to the point where I can tell how a game is gonna turn out by just going with the complete opposite of my initial impressions.

Yeah it's great to hear that this game turned out good since all the issues that was reported earlier in it's making. I really want this to be scary and interesting, cuz it's been quite a while since I played a great old school SurHor game.

All I needed to hear was that it isn't a unplayable bugfest. The rest I'll find out come tuesday! :D

Sign? You don't actually sign anything. They send the copy with a note speaking of the embargo. No signing. Even if you couldn't get a review copy of the game, or get it early, you should still be respectful to the Publisher's embargo.

i really think it is a horrible practice to have your embargo the day the game comes out it basically screams you have no faith in your game and is sending the worse message possible. Like at least the day before. come on zenimax get with it already.
OT- great review can wait till Tuesday, gameplay i have seen is great the people playing not so but that's not the games fault they suck at it lol

I hate to be the nay sayer here but... Evil Within was a huge disappointment to me. Starting from the cliche beginning that almost copies the original Resident Evil to the clunky and slow responding controls, to the pointless adherence to a specific goal despite the fact that you technically have several other ways you could finish a scenario. IE I need a chainsaw to do this and ONLY a chainsaw will work. One time use weapons such as axes and torches? Apparently the character is so inhumanly strong that if you hit a bad guy with something becides your fist it is destroyed... Like I said.. sorry to be negative Nancy but the whole game was simply a classic.. and cliche, horror survival straight from the 90's
