No ones really touched on dinosaur games, before. We need a AAA dinosaur game.

I'm not trying to be a d!ck but, how long have u been gaming?

dillhole3493d ago (Edited 3493d ago )

No one's touched on Dinosaurs?..... except

Turok series/ Primal Rage/ Primal Carnage/ Dino Crisis series/ Dino D-Day / Monster Hunter / and all the Jurassic Park games going right back to the NES and SNES.

DoomeDx3493d ago

Dino Crisis! My god I love that game.

Turok has some great games too. Seeds of Evil was by far my favorite.

mafiahajeri3493d ago (Edited 3493d ago )

Lol, I should have explained that we havent got a good game in a while, that's what I meant. Dont mention monster hunter not a dinosaur game, I know about all those other Stone Age games you mentioned. You obviously missed AAA as in a big budget game, there wasn't a single good dinosaur game last gen.

Theres never been a highly successful Dinosaur game, something like gta or mgs...

purpleblau3493d ago

nice list. We need a Next Gen dino game!

BeeDog3493d ago

These screenshots remind me of Jurassic Park on SegaCD. Loved that game. Dang I can still hear the music from the visitors center. I really want this new game to be good.

Double post

Metallox3493d ago

And here I'm waiting for an arcade similar to The Lost World launched by SEGA... it was really awesome back in the day. None of us can be satisfied xD

Turok 64 was actually kind of scary.

Moving through the fog with those raptors popping out at you.

It had a cool atmosphere.

you didn't really know where to go, but had to find your way and hope you had enough ammo.

* I LOVE Jurassic Park so I'm excited at least somebody is doing something with it.

camel_toad3493d ago (Edited 3493d ago )

Do you remember the cheats you could use in turok 64? Man those were fun. Really extended the fun of the game after you beat it. Hardly any devs include stuff like that these days.

3-4-53493d ago

Yea once we couldn't beat the game we'd throw in some cheats for ALL Guns and stuff.

Was a ton of fun....

Every Jurassic Park Game Ranked From Worst To Best

BLG writes: "In 1993 Steven Spielberg took Michael Crichton’s novel about a dinosaur theme park and turned it into a cinema masterpiece. And ever since then every developer from Konami to Telltale has tried to make the films into a video game. The developers were so concerned with whether or not they could, they never stopped to consider whether they should. Welcome to every Jurassic Park Game ever made ranked from worst to best."

Dinosaurs once ruled the 🌎

ZeekQuattro644d ago

It's funny I was a big dinosaur fan as a kid but I only ever played JP 1 (NES), JP II (SNES) and JP Rampage Edition (Genesis). I really liked Rampage Edition as you got to play a raptor trying to escape the Island.

sourOG643d ago

I really enjoyed the evolution games. I platinumed both but I never got the dlc. That’s the planet coaster studio if I’m not mistaken. They are awesome, they brought that shit to consoles in a competent way. As a Jurassic park fan and a sim building fan it was a perfect match. Does anyone know if planet zoo if ever coming to consoles?

Profchaos643d ago

When I was a kid I saved up and brought the lost world game on PS1 all I ever wanted was to be a Trex let lose on the city like the end of the movie but man that difficulty I never made it past the 2nd level

ANIALATOR136643d ago (Edited 643d ago )

Back then with there being no Internet, you needed the codes to access the levels too. And if you didn't have them, you could always keep inputting nonsense into the search until something came up. I remember once inputting the right code for the t rex level but since I didn't write it down, I couldn't play it again when I died. These days it's nothing though to go back and play what you want, when you want.

Jurassic Park Sega CD wasn't even mentioned, so this list isn't "Every". Actually a pretty bad game, but I loved it because I was a JP obsessed kid! XD
