Buck Wild Over The Deer God Alpha - Cliqist

Julie Morley writes: "The Deer God alpha does not have any story content going on in it at the moment, it is strictly a presentation of the gameplay for the backers. Let me stress though, it's an amazing example of what is to come. Crescent Moon Games has come quite a way since the campaign."

oh deer god this game is just another side scroller platformer...

l'm so done with indie titles. come on, you're an indie company not a college major work. Enough sidescrollers!

The indie scene is much more than side-scroller platformers. Maybe you're just looking at the games you've seen rather than looked for. I'll help:

Volume, Hotline Miami 2, The Talos Principle, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, The Witness, No Man's Sky, ABZU, Source, The Long Dark, SOMA, Titan Souls, The Tomorrow Children, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Dreamfall Chapters, Moon Hunters, Dragon Fin Soup, Alienation,

None of these are side-scroller platformers. Let the developers do what they want, and vote with your wallet. I'm getting this on Wii U.

And what do you have to say about large companies like Nintendo and Ubisoft when they make those amazing 2D sidescrollers like Super Mario Bros and Rayman?

And yet some delivered. It’s this I’m aiming to examine in this article – how many projects succeeded in reaching the Vita, how many failed, and how many are in limbo, as well as a conclusion on the overall state of Kickstarter (and other crowdfunding sources) on the handheld."

The Deer God Review - Dear God | Switch Era

Omar from SwitchEra.net writes: "I really wanted to like The Deer God, but with its combination of death traps and ineffective mating system I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy it. The Deer God tells the story of a hunter who gets killed by a wolf. Upon reaching the afterlife he is greeted by the Deer God and reincarnated and given the opportunity to atone for his crime of being a hunter."
