Hardcore Games - I love console RPGs. Some of my favorite games of all time are console RPGS. Without console RPGs, the gaming landscape would be a much, much worse place. Now that we have that disclaimer out of the way, can we all take a moment to acknowledge that there is no genre (outside of perhaps the FPS) that the PC does better than the RPG?
If you are looking for an awesome RPG, look no further. Steam is offering a significant discount on its Fallout Franchise Bundle.
"You can get all Fallout games in a bundle at a significant 20% discount on Steam. Individually, all these games add up to $244.91. With the discount, you can get them all for $195.91. That is $49 less than the original price. Quite a significant discount for such a popular franchise."
😊 😂 🤣 😐 - But why?
Just wait for a sale and get most if not all of it for a fraction of that price.
20% off...lol
The original games have been given out for free by Amazon for GOG and Epic, 76 is free now on Amazon if you have prime, Epic has also given out new Vegas for free and 4 has gone down to pretty cheap prices. 194 bucks is a total ripoff when you can get these games individually for less. Don't forget cd keys might sell em for a dollar less at times too. Come on man, us cheapskates won't touch anything near or above 100 lolz
Virtuos is currently working on a multiplatform Unreal Engine 5 remake, which is rumored to be The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
I thought they’d go for Morrowind first to be honest but this is a welcoming surprise to tide us over before ES6
Unreal Engine isn't efficient for open world games, so I question the reliability of this story.
Hopefully modders can fix the aged combart in this game if this is true. Enemies leveling up with you broke and defeated the whole purpose of leveling up.
The Fallout Anthology Edition is coming to PC very soon, and is packaged with some very S.P.E.C.I.A.L. bonuses.
It’s an awful downgrade to the last one they did
They included physical disc back then
I would love the classic fallout games on console. Closest I could find was atom rpg, I liked that one a lot
Oblivion and Skyrim over Morrowind? Might disagree with that one. PLus either one of those could (should) have been replaced with Fallout 3.
Then there is Knights of the old republic. That needs to be in it. And some might make a case for Dragon Age: Origins over say Gothic or even Divinity.
Thanks for your input. Though I suppose, those who write best-of lists should claim they're law, the finer points, such as game choice--a fine point on a list as small as ours--comes to us by way of our subjective experiences with each of the titles we considered, and a good deal of debate between me and my editor; we really could stand to have a longer CRPG list as all your picks are superb RPGs that were on the table, maybe when we revamp in January. Also, we were aware that Gothic II and Divinity:OS might cause some consternation among RPG fans. Still, I disagree with you across the board, and stand by our choices 100%, yet, at the end of the day, I'm pretty sure that's just an opinion.
