What I saw ... a developer looking very uncomfortable almost like his boss is watching . What the developer thought. Tiptoe , through the meadow , through minefield. The minefield of questions.

Gazondaily3517d ago

Yeah he was a very nice chap but he did completely dodge the question. I get the feeling that the new SDK build for the X1 is not being utilised. Expect an interior resolution on the Xbox One.

Gazondaily3517d ago

Inferior not interior lol! Bloody phone!

Rainbowcookie3517d ago

That would be fabulous lol, but to be honest the interior might be the reason the resolution is a bit inferior or it might be laziness

Heisenburger3517d ago

"How? By not answering the question at all?"

Precisely. The guy was begging for it, like a dog. This guy was smart enough not to give him anything.

Yet the title is still "Dragon Age: Inquisition on Xbox One vs PS4 challenges", which was NOT discussed by the interviewee, but only provoked by the interviewer.

The standards should be higher than that.

MasterCornholio3517d ago

You do know that the Xbox One is weaker right?

Which is probably why it will run at lower resolution than the PS4 version. Putting the blame on developers not utilizing the SDK update doesn't cut it anymore.

Gazondaily3517d ago (Edited 3517d ago )

@Master

I know. Utilising the SDK is barely allowing devs to reach parity with the PS4. I've said this several times before. I'm not blaming the Dev. The Dev shouldn't have to scramble for power.

"Precisely. The guy was begging for it, like a dog."

Really? By simply asking the question about it is equal to begging like a dog? Dodging questions is what devs do when it comes to topical such as these. The Dev didn't bother answering it and that was the end of it. The questioning moved on.

Heisenburger3517d ago

Nice job not replying to me, but still talking to me.

I'm calling the site out for trying to get a headline, failing, then still using the headline although the content does not justify it. You either disagree, which is fine, or you are lying to yourself.

The questioning may have "moved on", but that didn't stop the headline from happening, now did it? It's not an insult of character, just calling out a poorly thought out decision.

Heisenburger3517d ago

The guy off screen seems really determined to get a quote from him talking negatively about the Xbox One.

I see this guy simply outsmarting him.

Gazondaily3517d ago

How? By not answering the question at all?

mochachino3517d ago

Its concerning how reluctant devs are to speak freely about their games in interviews and how little journalists care about the actual content of the game, instead they're fixated on getting performance quotes.

While I don't appreciate the guy avoiding the question, the journalist didn't ask anything that would have provided more info about gameplay..combat mechanics, story, modes, length, nope, nothing. Who cares, give me a resolution quote is all that matters it seems.. I wish he just did so they could move on to talking about the game.

Gazondaily3516d ago

The interview was 10 minutes long and everythng from gameplay, combat mechanics, story and modes was discussed at length. I can even show you exactly where in the video those exact areas were discussed.

mochachino3516d ago (Edited 3516d ago )

Discussed at the instance of the developer as a way to avoid troll bait questions...

TheEnigma3133516d ago

They're trying their hardest to get a negative quote from this guy. It got annoying after a while.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Retro Review – A Nostalgic Leap Short Of Legendary

Dragon Age: Inquisition, developed by BioWare, is the third installment in the cherished Dragon Age series. It represents a major evolution from its predecessor, Dragon Age II, incorporating elements that were well-loved in the original Dragon Age: Origins but also introducing new features that stand on their own. While Inquisition improves upon Dragon Age II in many respects, it falls short of the exceptional standards set by Origins.

The quality of these free games has been awesome. Before anyone says they are not free I was already giving Amazon $6 a month for prime shipping and video this isn't why I pay for my subscription

Teflon02929d ago

Still technically paying for it, even if it wasn't your intent. They've been giving out games with Twitch prime, they just changed the name. It's the same sub as that was. If you weren't aware, great. But you're paying for it.

That being said, I don't personally care. For me as long as you're willing to pay that for 1 service and get more. I personally take it as free. Like prime video, music though the prime version is trash, and all the Twitch benefits are all free to me because I didn't care about those when I got it. Just comes with it.

Only noted because that's technically wrong as a defense to that argument, whether I'm on yourside with the initial statement lol

mkis007929d ago

It's free to anyone who has already been paying. IDK why people need to split hairs.

TinkerNation929d ago

How does Prime Gaming work? Do you keep the games, or is it only as long as you have Prime?

Germaximus929d ago

lol Nice distraction from how they're now charging people to increase viewership. It's "just an option." /wink lol
