Should be interesting you guys are usually pretty close.

ATLRoAcH5794d ago (Edited 5794d ago )

...a Pain post on the PS Blog earlier. I read the first half of it and clicked "read more" and I got an error. Now its not on the Blog anymore. I don't know what happened. I guess they took it down. The part I read was just the dude that does the posts about Pain saying how it had been a long time since he last posted. Didn't get to read the rest.

StalkingSilence5794d ago

PlayStation LifeStyle was able to recover Travis William's post, and post it up here: http://playstationlifestyle...

ATLRoAcH5794d ago

Someone didn't believe me I guess because I got a disagree.

StalkingSilence5794d ago

glad I could help back you up.
Pretty interesting article and makes me think the Nigel add-on character and corresponding theme might be pushed to next week. but then again... the post was removed, so maybe they moved it forward?

ATLRoAcH5794d ago

I'm glad you backed me up. You must keep an eye on the Blog like me. I check it all the time. I think the "Jukebox Play" could have been the reason they took it down. Kinda like with MGS4 and how they removed being able to listen to your own music on the iPod. I'm guessing the rumored custom soundtracks in 2.40 may be the cause. I don't know but thats what I'm thinking.

StalkingSilence5794d ago

if you check the developer blog at www.painps3.com, you'll see they've been discussing PAIN update v1.67 (previously v1.70) since May 15, 2008. They mentioned it will have in-game custom soundtracks using MP3s (not AAC yet). So I'm not sure that's the reason they took it down.

ATLRoAcH5794d ago

Maybe not. I just figured that they'll have to patch this again soon anyway once the new Firmware drops. To enable the XMB custom soundtracks. I don't know. I guess we'll see.

Calvin_ISA5793d ago

looks like somebody's following you guys with the disagree syndrome... :( it saddens me how retarded some people can be. "OH! Lets just disagree with every comment these guys make" how lame.

Surfman5794d ago

konami surprise? could it be a MGS4 demo? or an add-on?

butterfinger5794d ago

I sort of doubt that it is a demo, because they said it was for people who purchased the game. An add-on would be tight depending on what it is:)

Surfman5794d ago (Edited 5794d ago )

new cutscenes? lol that would be nice they were perfect. I maybe something with Raiden.. it was a cool character.

StalkingSilence5794d ago

it's not a demo. nor an add-on, per se.

Drekken5794d ago

stalkingsilence, what do you have in mind??

Pornlord5794d ago

The kojima suprise had an * by it last month too, so could be nothing, let's hope not, but I hate getting all excited and then nothing happening :(

Sev5794d ago

Oh its something... Konami's surprise that is...

Cant wait for tomorrow

StalkingSilence5794d ago

If by last month you mean last week - then yes. It got delayed one week. Read the article.

Raoh5794d ago

lol about time... they said it would be on day one of release

i was hoping it wasnt that theme

butterfinger5794d ago

But that theme IS pretty tight:P

Drekken5794d ago

I wonder what it is!!! Hopefully it is MGO addon pack. I really cant think of anything else it could be.

Liquid Dust5794d ago

Perhaps it could be MGS1? Man im glad they revisited mgs1 so much in mgs4. Brought back a lot of good memories, especially the audio sequences.

NegativeCreepWA5793d ago

Its a MGS database. The playstation blog just posted it. It sounds pretty good.
