The Game Boy RPGs that received the most attention were Pokémon, but the system had a lot of other great titles from the genre. Some of these games shared names with major series, like Final Fantasy, but others came out of nowhere and found success.
Lufia: The Legend Returns is mind blowingly good for a gb game. One of my fave rpgs ever
I loved getting lost in the sand of Final Fantasy On game boy . I hated it too but it’s very memorable to this day .
As we live through the nostalgia of celebrating the 20th anniversaries of the system's best releases, it's a great time to revisit the Game Boy Color and play some old and new favorites! (As well as some original Game Boy releases celebrating their 30th!)
Have [people] ever considered how unrealistic it is when [people] see games where a small group of heroes somehow topple gods and save the world? A group of four or six teenagers or young adults managing to do it all? It could be considered quite a stretch. Some games acknowledge this by offering a larger party to make their premise more plausible, but it is Lufia: The Legend Returns that goes above and beyond to present a solid cast. This game’s 12 heroes and heroines come together to strike down the Sinistrals in a way that makes a bit more sense.
