Use the hook shot! On a serious note, Gohma reminds me about playing against him in the Legend of Zelda Oracle of Season. On the other hand, I really like watching this video to see how the boss fights works. I'm quite disappointed about the NPCS standing around though.

herbs3548d ago

Yah pretty lame how they all the NPCs just stand around shuffling there feet occasionally, kind of breaks the immersion... They should at least be rushing forward attacking and getting knocked back even if it was just for show. I want this game to be awesome but its looking pretty meh unfortunately...

fr0sty3547d ago (Edited 3547d ago )

All the Dynasty Warriors games are like that. Lame AI, a bunch of mindless, faceless characters standing around doing nothing while you attack them. Throw in a boss once in a while...

They've managed to keep that same formula for decades. How they can still sell the games without adding an ounce of innovation in is beyond me. Now they're doing it with both Zelda and Dragon Quest. It was one thing when it was their own franchise they were ruining with lack of innovation, but now they're taking on some of the most beloved characters and copy/pasting them into these games.... not cool.

WeAreLegion3547d ago

That's apparently what "Musou" means. :( They haven't evolved the genre in years.

ChickeyCantor3548d ago

Good god Japan. Chill your GUI.

There is already so much going on screen, what made them think a constant message right in the middle was a good idea?

SilentNegotiator3547d ago

"Link! Aim for the obvious weak spot!"

Gravity_DoGG3547d ago (Edited 3547d ago )

I know I may not be in the majority. and I'll maybe get a lot of disagrees.. but I really don't like how luna looks. I didn't play skyward sword (I assume she from that game) but she's looking like some Hatsune miku?? I think they should keep I straight zelda and not too Japanese. If you get what I mean? :/

Edit; and I know zelda series is Japanese. but they are overdoing it a little maybe..

ChickeyCantor3547d ago (Edited 3547d ago )

" I didn't play skyward sword (I assume she from that game)"

She isn't. Lana is from this game. And she looks perfectly fine and inline with how Twilight princess characters look.

Zelda always had an anime flair to it. Would you have said the same if she had dark brown hair?

Gravity_DoGG3547d ago

I think the girl in the video with lana (the girl with the bugs from tp)is a little too Japanese too imo.. mayne it started in Twilight princess?

ChickeyCantor3547d ago (Edited 3547d ago )

LOL you're getting things mixed up:
Lana is a new character, the one with blue hair. The bug girl is Agitha, she is from twilight princess.

But eh Lana was probably created by the Warriors team and not so much the zelda team. probably explains the cliche anime influence.

Gravity_DoGG3547d ago (Edited 3547d ago )

If you take you time reading my comment you'll see I wrote the girl with the bugs from Twilight princesses;)

I'm glad that you can see that lana is a cliché too :)

ChickeyCantor3546d ago (Edited 3546d ago )

This is the bug girl from TP :
http://zeldawiki.org/images...

She looks nothing like Lana.

I wouldn't call Agitha cliché anime.

Gravity_DoGG3546d ago (Edited 3546d ago )

You didn't take your time to read my comment if you keep posting stuff that I already know -.-

Edit. and no your right. The "bug girl" dosent look cliché. but lana totally does. just look at her pose xD

Nioh games definitely up there at the top alongside Ninja Gaiden BLK.

LoveSpuds498d ago

There is a decent fan base for the Nioh games, but still think they are criminally overlooked and under appreciated.

I just bought the PS5 collection to replay them again with all their DLC, a sweet collection for my games shelf for sure.

Yea, those gardens haven't been plowed in over 10 years now though. Imagine if they cultivated it, let it grow again.

Starman69498d ago

Amazing what ya can do with a samurai sword lol 🤣

tehpees3499d ago

The honourable mention though.

TheSenorCheese499d ago

originally it wasn't going to be included because of their take on Samus' character. But the gameplay's actually not bad.

Vits498d ago

Honestly, I don't know if we can even blame them for that take. Nintendo's Sakamoto was credited as the writer and from what we learned later with the Retro Studios interviews for the Prime series, Nintendo apparently never saw Samus as this stoic badass that most of the west imagined her as. Going as far as describing her as "motherly".

shinoff2183499d ago

Ninja Gaiden was dope but I don't really care for alot of their games.

The cool thing about the PS2 chainsaw display was that there was a (kind-of) hidden compartment at the back which was the exact size to hold the PS2 steelbook.

darthv721185d ago

I have that controller but sadly I lost the main cord. And its not something that was anything close to being standard or easy to find.

PrimeVinister1185d ago

One of my friends had it back in the day and I had wondered alout why it had a detachable cord that you could lose.

My friend then said it was so they could manufacture the one unit and then fire its appropriate cord in the appropriate box.

But then we realised each version has a different socket on the unit itself - so there was zero point in it except for collectors to lose the cable.

You know the designers are on r/, gamecollecting, laughing away.

jamesclark19911185d ago

I kept my cord in the "hidden" little brown drawer on the base of the unit.
