Hardcore Games - Firefall is free-to-play in the same way that living with your parents is free. While you won’t feel the sting in your wallet, there is a price to be paid with your dignity. Every awkward meal is punctuated by Firefall’s incessant shouting from the head of the table about the values of a bean-based economy as you try desperately to scrape your plate for any semblance of sustenance, wishing you had never dropped out of Professor Layton’s University. Firefall demands from you something of value; either your money or your time, and hours in, the game still feels as if it's designed from the ground up to move micro-transactions.

This is sad news, because I always felt there was great potential with this game but it never got to where it could be.
Plus this was the only game to ever use the Project Offset engine too. Project Offset never came out so getting to see what it could do was the closest we ever got because of this game.
We're rounding up some games like Firefall, a great concept that simply was not executed as well as we hoped. Maybe these other worlds will hit the spot!
I use to love MMO's but now i can't stand them. I hope they can change the grinding and make a more engaging gameplay style.
