EA is all about these types of customers. It's the same thing with unlocks in other EA games.

Just play the game, earn your stuff and keep on playing. Why pay a lot for something you can get just by playing?

Once you start completing sets you get a lot of coins and you find yourself getting lots of players, auctioning them off and it's a never ending circle of getting more packs.

It's just a little grind to start finishing sets...

They charge full price for 3-year-old AAA games because they made the games so they can charge however much they want, and judging by the sales of their games years after their initial release dates, they stand the test of time unlike Sony/Microsoft games that fizzle out after their 15 minutes are up.

Sad to say but these are exactly the kind of gamers Xbox One was built for. It was initially meant to be a money grab machine for casuals, but only after all the public backlash they trying to be more like PS4. But the "money grab" is still at the heart of the console, that's why there's still advertisements on the UI.
