Is GTA V Delayed to 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One?

As gamers get concerned over Rockstar's silence about the game's release, fresh new rumblings out of Gamescom suggest that not only was GTA V at the show, it was being shown to retailers.

The delay festival continues , either way 2015 should be a great year.

Scrivlar3571d ago

I know right? I'm fucking pissed off with all these delays, just set the release date later or not at all! Should be a £1 discount for every month they delay from the original date or something.

You didn't hear the news? 2015's been delayed to 2016

dcj05243571d ago

2016 is having some frame-rate problems so it's been delayed to late 2016.

I didn't buy GTA V for ps3 or 360 specifically waiting for the ps4 version. I guess I can wait a little longer if I've been patient to this point.

You're a better person than most.
Played it had fun but hope it comes with a little more content to entice a rebut for new systems.

Wouldn't surprise me at this point, Rockstar usually has at least something to show at Gamescom but this year you heard nothing from them. Either they are planning a release in December or it has been delayed.

Randostar3571d ago

They sold 33 million copies already, they don't need to advertise or do ANYTHING. They were at Gamescom last year, but they were only there to show the media a glimpse of GTAV, Why would they need to show the media a game we have been playing for a year now?

nX3571d ago

Because their marketing department would be bored otherwise.

Xmas release I bet with a ps4/X1 bundle. The things will fly of shells.

I'd really like to see a Red Dead Redemption - Remastered Edition :)

Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) Best Settings for Low End PC: RTX 3060/RX 6600/RTX 4060 Laptop GPU

Grand Theft Auto V was released over 9 years ago, but the player base is largely intact due to regular updates to the Online Multiplayer. The game had some technical issues at launch, most notably a CPU utilization issue, but most recent chips shouldn’t have any issues running it.

i think the only real loss is GTAV

OtterX14d ago

I think everyone and their sister owns the game by now. They likely want to squeeze the rest of the holdouts before GTAVI releases.

Profchaos13d ago

That game comes and goes from subscriptions so frequently I think it's expected now. Like rdr2 on gamepass Rockstar Games only last a max of 3 months On a service

MrBaskerville13d ago

Talos Principle is the real loss.

BanginTunes13d ago

Facts that game is good as fuck I'm playing through 2 now, very underrated

Huey_My_D_Long14d ago

indivisible was pretty neat. Cute artstyle, fun throwback to older RPGs, shame its leaving but it is on sale often

shinoff218313d ago

Definitely. I e joyed what I played of it. Still gotta grab the physical at some point

Petebloodyonion14d ago

I'm not surprised by GTA V removal, Rockstar never allows this game to stay long on a subscription service.
They usually allow 4 to 6 months.

lodossrage14d ago

Yeah, they do that routinely with both GTA and Red Dead.

But it's because they know they can still sell them so they take them off and on to these sub services in cycle.

The weird thing to me is why is anyone still buying those games at this point? You would think after 3 generations of being sold GTA 5 that everyone and their momma would have it by now

RNTody13d ago

I fail to see how the loss of an almost 11 year old game that released across 3 generations is in any way a problem.
