IGN: Conduit 4 New Screens

IGN just posted four new screens of the upcoming wii fps The Conduit. Hopefully we'll get a landslide of Conduit media soon.

Looking pretty bad. They seem kinda old. The last gameplay vid looked much better. Some of these shots like the one pictured in the story seem to have early PS2 graphics.

The second one was rather weak, ps2 quality, as you say. The third and the fourth were all right and the first one was really good. Screenshots are not the way to evaluate game graphics. We have to wait to watch more videos.

These are actually not new pics (well most of them anyway) these are stills from early development...gotta be..pictures never seem to do this game justice.I personally could care less if the conduit looks close to ps3/360...in fact I think the quantum 3 engine has a look all it's own.I'm just happy a third party dev gives a crap and are taking some time to make something good for the wii.

The wii seems to be racking up on some good third party exclusives as of late...luckily :)

I'm amazed that some are touting this game as "360-quality graphics." It's clearly not even the best visuals on the Wii.

I think the Quantam 3 graphics engine has the beef I just want to see High Voltage pump more into the level designs/models thats what detracts from it but overall nice textures, excellent lighting, some decent water effects. Really wish we could get some long video walkthroughs though, just to show off some purrty ee-fects.

Not looking so great, but then again, I never thought screenshots were a good way to judge what a game is going to look like. Footage only, bay-bee.

Your exactly right, watching a game in motion is a far better indicator.Gameplay stills seem to always pick up any graphical flaw the game might have such as aliasing. The trailer was much more impressive, although there is still some work that needs to be done. Some of the indoor/building locations in the game are far too bland for example.

Splatoon 2 Shows Off What Wii Shooters Should Have Been

There’s a consensus about Splatoon 1 that cannot be disputed: motion controls are the way to play. The Wii U Gamepad had its many problems on the system as a whole, but along with the way in which the touch screen was implemented in the first game like I mentioned in my last piece, using the Gamepad’s gyroscope was deemed a superior way to play compared to traditional joystick control.
