Xbox One getting new 'Free Play Day with Gold' feature?

Microsoft is to introduce a new "Free Play Day with Gold" program offering Xbox Live Gold subscribers temporary access to select Xbox One titles for free, judging by a pair of images taken by Xbox One users.

Yeh ps3 has the same thing its pertty neat to. Gives you a chance to play the full game for a set time

It's a smart move by MS. You let people play games they normally wouldn't play for 24 hours, and if you like it after the 24 hours you are more likely to purchase it.

They are letting you play the games with gold freebies for 24 hrs if you don't have a gold account. If you're already a gold member like me then there's nothing to see here.

It would work with Sports games and people been able to try out the multiplayer for 24 hours. You'd run into issues with single player campaigns. Some people would breeze through a campaign at low difficulty in 12 hours easily.

Nice! it's a great feature that more than likely will encourage gamers to purchase more digital software titles.

Question gamers: I have both PS4 and XB1, but I've noticed the Games with GOLD discounted releases change approximately every week? Where as the PS+ free and discounted games change every month? Because Metal Gear Solid was $14.99 on Tuesday, then yesterday it was back up to $29.99 for games with gold. Now Trials Fusion & COD Ghost DLC's are the discounted games.

Would be really cool if it were a new game every day. Doubt it, but still a really good idea for people who want to try a game and not sure if they want to buy it.
