Trying to temper my excitement for this. I've played it, and it's nothing like Colonial Marines, but part of me is still reeling from that disappointment. =p

It can't piss off more than watching marines lay waste to tons of Aliens . Even in Aliens by Cameron , wich established the whole marines platoon killing them in chains , there was a sense of danger and urgency missing in most other games

Hmm, I'm fine with Survival Horror games being hard. That's kinda the whole point. Outlast was scary, but became all too easy to get away from the enemies. This preview made the game sound awesome even though he didn't like it. Not ever knowing what the Alien is going to do will keep me on my toes for as long as I'm playing. I'm also a sucker for games like these haha.

I think we have been through a long time of pampering for difficulty in games. It's time to raise the challenge a bit. Like the old days of gaming. I am looking forward to this game.

Exactly. I'm tired of developers treating us like children when it comes to game difficulty. We need a challenge, like ninja Gaiden hard. If I can complete a game with no problem, I basically just wasted my money. We grew up on contra, games like that. We need more challenging games with advance enemy AI. Like the Halo and Ninja Gaiden days.

like Outlast, you can't kill monsters, you just run, wait, hide the whole, I got bored because of repetition halfway...

Everyone that reads this should go download SCP CONTAINMENT BREACH. This article reminded me of that game. Unkillable enemy's in tight corridors. Its a horror game as well. More like slender, but better. Its free, and procedurally generated, so everyti.e you playthe level layout is different.
