"The summer is always slow for game releases but the month of August does introduce some great video games across many platforms. These five games will hold you off till the busy season begins in fall." -BootHammer
Today it was announced that the gaming and anime industry has lost another beloved artist and creator. Mutsumi Inomata has passed away.
The Tales Of series are some of the best RPGs I've ever played, and the characters are a big reason for that. I don't think I played a single game in the series that I didn't enjoy. Rest in peace.
Wow she was the character designer for Tales of Destiny one of my favorites of all time =(
I love the Tales games. Phantasia will always be my favorite. Ironically I felt like as the series progressed the character design became too “anime cliche.”

I'm playing this game at the moment and it feels like a cellphone game. It's okay, but it feels cheap and overly simplified.
Ownership over several titles gets shuffled in THQ Nordic and Koch Media arrangement. Potential remasters, sequels, ports, and more on the horizon.
Both THQ and Koch Media are owned by the same larger company, the Embracer Group. I’m not sure why the publishing rights would need to be swapped.
I hope they release risen on switch It's a underrated game all so
Nice list
Always up for a new JRPG
Tales of Xillia 2 looks good to me
metro redux!
Finally a list with Tales Of Xillia 2.
I am looking forward to Tales of Xillia 2 but I think I need to play alot more of the first, so maybe I will get it for Christmas like I did the first one.
Metro Redux is an awesome addition to next gen and I hope it helps the games become more popular. I would not pay full price because I played both on PC already but may pick it up eventually.
Will probably try Risen 3, since the devs keep emphasising the back to the Gothic roots aspect of it.
