MCV: US doctor says guilt felt by MMO addicts dwarfs that felt by fans of X-rated material
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Danish from eXputer: "Despite Blizzard's attempt to give a fresh new spin to World of Warcraft, some fans still seem to be stuck in the past."
HG writes: "Blizzard is usually pretty bad at keeping secrets, but the company somehow managed to keep this one under wraps until now. Plunderstorm is a special limited-time event that’s basically World of Warcraft’s take on the Battle Royale genre."
Of course it's more shameful. At least by watching adult movies, people get to see some action. WOW is no progress, no fun, no reward. j/k
But I really REALLY hate MMOs so for me, any addiction to MMO is shameful.
Guilty over video games because you can't talk about it to non-gamers? Hmm I talk vids to non-gamers all the time :) they usually get what I'm saying but really why feel guilty over a game... unless of course this WoW has you doing nothing but playing the game. Addiction to a MMO is a no-no.
I dont understand.
Funny thing is I actually stopped talking to a friend of mine because everything he mentioned was WoW related. I played WoW myself for 2 years but it got to the point where it was a chore to relate to him.
The most shameful thing is people that are addicted to second life. Some actually think that thats there real life until they have a power cut or somin
