The Evil Within - 16 Minutes Of New Gameplay Footage Revealed

YouTube’s PewDiePie has shared a new video walkthrough from The Evil Within, showing 16 minutes of gameplay footage.

Was wondering when someone might post this, lol. Was quite pleased to see this pop up on my YouTube subscriptions, and the game looks pretty good. A little rough around the edges, and the framerate is kind of poor in places but that's what optimization is for in the last stages of development.

I think much of the bad FPS looks to be pewds' capture.. no way it can be that low fps in normal gameplay when nothing much is happening.

I don't know why but the game (apart from the low fps which is probably pewdipies fault) has a very grainy appearance, in fact overly grainy. Also I hope that there is an option for a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Game looks pretty solid - the atmosphere is sufficiently creepy.

That being said, some of the animations and textures leave a little something to be desired. The voice acting is borderline cheese too.

We'll see.

Vid says e3 demo , so it might be old version. Its idtech5 and it's supposed to run @60fps on all consoles like wolfenstein did, so fps shouldn't be a problem..

You know what the best thing to do is? Stop following games and stop knowing everything about it before it comes out. Games are better when you ignore trailers, articles and gameplay.

So Im enjoying the video but this gamers commentary is horrible....he cannot stop blathering on for less than 2 secs at a time. Shut the f up. Say something funny but you don't have to just say random stuff every second. Ugh cannot stand him I had to mute it. He needs to tune into the RadBrad....there is guy that can balance gameplay with commentary and real humor. This guy is a joke.
