Your video shows that he doesn't really know anything about the FGC.

1. Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition was not at Evo 2014. Ultra Street Fighter IV was the game played.
2. The racist, bigot, and misogynist relations to the FGC were very new to the scene and only because of the actions of Aris during the terrible reality TV spoof for the Street Fighter X Tekken pre-release show. Since 2009, with the release of Street Fighter IV and the accessibility of the community to reach each other and show tech through the internet, the FGC has grown and become a welcoming community to all members.
3. Ricky Ortiz has been in the community for a long time and is sometimes referred to as "Pretty Ricky" because his hair is so fabulous. No one has ever gay bashed him because he is a great guy and can body damn near anyone there.

Also, there are no shoutcasters in the FGC. Or many other games for that matter. You'll find shoutcasters in the old FPS scene and some RTS games. We have commentators and that was a female interviewer that you were referring to.

I bet you also didn't know that Evo was the first event to set the world's most concurrent views on a single stream a few years ago. More than LoL, WoW, CS, or any other stream ever.

VGW's Will Harrison: With the bloodiest day in Evo tournament history in the record books, Sunday night came and brought with it even more shocking endings and tense match ups than the crowd of 8,000 live spectators and 128,000 watching on Twitch.TV could have anticipated. Would America capture its first Street Fighter IV Evo crown via SnakeEyes, the west coast Zangief player? Could Ricky Ortiz bring home the trophy? Would the title of Grand Finals Winner go back to Fuudo and Japan? Top 8 was full of surprises and saw a gripping conclusion that will be talked about in Fight Game Community circles for years to come.

Five Fighting Games You Won't See at EVO

Kevin from Denkiphile: "EVO has arrived, which means that the titans of competitive fighting games are duking it out Greek-style to claim supremacy over their fellow man. Featured at EVO are the best and most popular games the genre has to offer. Street Fighters, BlazBlues, Guilty Gears, and King of Fighters are the bread and butter of any fighting game competition, but like with any other genre, there are games that wouldn’t make the cut for competitive play for various reasons. Here’s a list of fighting games no one will ever play at EVO."
