According to a PSU source, Namco Bandai's Soul Calibur IV will feature not only Star Wars characters such as Darth Vader, Yoda, and Vader's secret apprentice, but will also include both Sith Lord and Jedi Knight character creation classes.
Although details are already scarce on the character creation options in Soul Calibur IV, we do know that choosing certain clothes or armor will affect how players behave in battle. Also some pieces of equipment favor offensive and others defensive playstyles. It will be interesting if this rumor is true, as players will be able to not only create medieval looking characters but also their own lightsaber wielding Sith warriors.
Taiwan has published ratings for the PSP versions of Tekken 6 and Soul Calibur, for release on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
NetherRealm confirms its Mortal Kombat franchise has sold over 80 million copies in the last 30 years, and here's how it competes against other fighters.
Don't care what anyone says, Smash isn't a traditional fighting game. May as well call Powerstone and Playstation All Stars fighting games. They're more of an arena fighter /party game.
Including Smash Bros in a list of fighting games, is like including GTA in Racing games.
The first two fighting games in the series are no longer available on the Microsoft Store.
Star Calibur? Ugh...
I'm still really looking forward to this but I just wish they'd leave the whole star wars thing to another game, I'm hearing more and more about Star Wars with this game and less about Soul Calibur.
Still, I'm glad to see that the character creation is still confirmed.
That's so awesome more good news for my favorite series and game this year SCIV.
PS3 FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rofl
too many star wars characters now if u ask me... including starkiller pushed its inclusion to the breaking point.
wow this just went to a buy for me. I suck at fighting games but who doesn't want to create their own personal sith lord.
Sounds like to much fun!
It's not like this is the first cameo from another game (spawn, Link) it's just star wars this time. I'm not a huge fan of Star wars myself, but the character creation sounds sweet.
