Why you should be pumped for the Grim Fandango remaster

Certainly one of the best. Personally, I prefer Monkey Island 2, but sadly, that got a mediocre looking HD remake, so hopefully this will be much better.

Considering Tim Schafer is personally involved, I expect it to be absolutely awesome.

I never played this particular game...but kept seeing it win all kinds of critical praise and awards.

I was a HUGE fan of the Lucasarts adventures though, Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle...I bought a LOT of their games back in the day!

So, I am VERY excited that they are remastering this game and bringing it to the Vita and PS4! I will be buying it DAY ONE when it comes out!

Maniac Mansion was my addiction for the better part of a year when I was younger. This was before the days of being able to look up everything on the internet. You simply just had to discover things for yourself...or get some friends into the game so that you ALL could solve things. Plus, there were always those inside jokes (like the gas can) that just simply pissed you off and made you laugh at the same time. Can't wait to try Grim again.

This, Ori, and Scalebound were some of my favorite surprises of E3. Never had a chance to play Grim Fandango back in the day, but I've seen many credit it as one of the best stories in games.

Grim Fandango is an awesome game, but I wish they would have brought back Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle.

I still have my original copy in its jewel case, and this game was a wonderful experience. To anyone who even remotely enjoys adventure games (specifically "point and click" style, like most of Tell Tale's games), I would recommend this as a top priority to check out. I'm very interested to see the changes and improvements for the remaster, and almost assuredly this will be a day-one purchase for me.

Now once this is out the door, maybe we could get a Psychonauts sequel? Or at least a remaster hopefully, which could potentially spark interest for a sequel.

Never got to finish it due to a game breaking bug near the end of the game but the 80-90% I played of it, I loved and even consider one of my favorite games of all time. This game was the reason that made me preorder the Destiny ps4 bundle.
