Sucker Punch Might Make More inFAMOUS: Second Son DLC like First Light if People Love it

Sucker Punch will release the stand-alone DLC inFAMOUS: First Light on August 26th, but there are more conduits in the world of inFAMOUS: Second Son, and First Light might not be the last of its kind according to Game Director Nate Fox.

I want DLC where I get to play young Augustine when she discovers her powers. Her tale is actually tragic in many parts and the V/O work by Dunford was absolutely on point.

I wasn't a fan of the first inFamous, but I've heard so many good things about SS and it looks beautiful to boot. There's a SS "mega pack" bundle coming out in the UK soon at GAME (not sure about other retailers) that includes the PS4 (would help!), two DualShock 4 controllers, the PlayStation camera and inFamous SS for £430 http://www.game.co.uk/en/m/...

This is easily the worst game of the series, the first two were FAR better than Second Son.

I'm a die hard Fan of infamous think im lying look me up on PSN Xsilvermist i own every single infamous game that includes festival of blood every single one platinumed except Second Son im still working on it, and what you said is complete BS the only bad thing about Second SON Is the story which in infamous 1 or 2 had the better story but Second Son was the most fun of the three and Second Son had great Characters especially their backstory's except for Eugene he fell flat as character to me but Second Son isn't the worst of the series far from it the series.

Loved the first two games. But sadly, Second Son is not a good game.

The story is weak, the characters are boring, the lack of variation of super powers is awful, the complete lack of side missions is a disgrace....

My opinion Second Son is the best of the series. As far as the story not being as good. Well perhaps the premise isn't as good as 1 & 2 but the story is told miles away better than 1 & 2. Motion capture, the acting, and emotion is all there. Where as in 1 & 2 it was pretty emotionless due to underwhelming performances.

Gameplay wise? Incredibly smooth. My only complaint with SS is that it's short. However that may be due to it having the crack effect (old Socom reference). Meaning once you pick it up you don't want to put it down.

Don't listen to anyone. Believe on your instincts . I played mass effect after hearing how good it is and i hated it , same with halo. Went for gears without taking anyone opinion but my eyes and my judgement after looking at it's vision and i loved it. When i decided to buy it i played it like if i knew nothing about it. That's the best way to enjoy any game by judging it your self. You may even enjoy bad games that way which is a win for you ..

What's cool about this DLC is that you don't need the actual game disc to play it. I think that's added value right there, but that's just my opinion.

It annoys me to no end when people make an argument based on comparisons that don't make any sense; it's even worse when they just ALLUDE to the comparison, but intentionally leave out the details because they know full well how stupid it sounds.

For all these claims of hypocrisy, you name no one who has done so. You cite no articles. You reference no other DLC. You say nothing about the DLC that is the subject of the article. You simply make a claim pulled out of thin air, assert that it's only the truth, and then lament that it is so, all for the sake of pushing your agenda.

PROVE IT. Instead of looking like a fanboy trolling- which is what many of your comments look like, anyway- prove that some significant number of Sony fans condemned paying for DLC before, and now those same individuals are praising it.

Prove that they're being hypocritical by praising this DLC for the very same thing or things that they damned other DLC for. And this is really important, because if the reasons for liking one aren't the same as the reasons for disliking another, your claim falls apart entirely. Without that, there's no hypocrisy.

And if there's no hypocrisy- which we know there isn't- then you're lying.

@Spotie. It would be a pain in the ass to post a link to every single article on N4G that has ever talked about paid DLC. Whether it's stand alone or not, this is Second Son DLC and your not getting the whole experience unless you pay for this. The complaint has always been that you don't get full games anymore when you pay the retail price. I'm also not calling out any one person in particular, but fanboys as a whole. It happens on both sides. People will knock the hell out of EA for their DLC. But if Sucker Punch does it, or maybe Black Tusk (theoretical) over on the MS soft side of things. It would be praised. I don't see this as being any different from micro transactions. Your being blocked from content behind a pay wall.

I've only seen complaints for day 1 DLC. Not dlc that comes later and has a lot of content in it. Especially when it's done like this.

Rockstar will be releasing some single player DLC for GTA V and I doubt people will complain about that. It's only when you buy the game and they release DLC right around the release date that should have been in the game.

I hope they do , from a person who bought it day 1, I was disappointed that there wasn't a lot of content in 2nd Son ... It was a great game but I sold it awhile ago due that reason. Don't get me wrong , it was definitely GOTY material and what was there was fun and extremely pleasing to the eyes but IMO it was rushed. It's like they finished the story and was like oh damn it's due out on the streets next week thus not letting them add any real side missions or longevity to the game. I'll pick it up when it's GOTY edition and includes all bonus material.
