Where is the Remastered Version of ODST? Is it the Unloved Step Child?

Pixel Gate writes:

''I’ve never been the biggest Halo fan, and that’s mostly down to the character of Master Chief. There’s something about him that I just find painfully dull, even with all the fan love surrounding him. In all honestly, the main Master Chief storyline has never interested me. In fact, the main reason I enjoyed Reach‘s campaign was because the Spartan you played as actually had character.''

ODST was refreshing because it was Halo but with a different vibe, in a different setting. It was a lot of fun. Remember though it was released in HD on 360 so if an Xbone version is made then sure it will look better but it's not like the 360 version has badly dated. But I'm sure this will be on the cards and deservedly so.

ODST seemed so dark to me. A complete departure from Halo 3. In a good way..

Maybe they'll release it new collection next year and call Halo: Chronicles Collection. It'll come with Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, Halo: Wars & Halo: Spartan Assault with a beta for Halo: Wars II.

Which would clearly be a smart glass exclusive ;)

Thats not a bad collection at all but its not worth $60, more like $15

Half_Minute_Hero3606d ago

Remastered reach and ODST are definitely worth that price..

I have a few friends who really enjoyed ODST and put it among the better Halos, I never really enjoyed it compared to the others for some reason it just felt empty

Truehellfire3607d ago

I liked ODST a lot, but the biggest issue with it however was they charged a full $60 for it when it was clearly just an expansion. Should have been $30-$40 max.

GamerEuphoria3607d ago

All the halo 3 DLC made up the price point to be fair

Truehellfire3607d ago

Only if you had never owned it. I, like most people who bought ODST, already did.

I liked dost as well. I was disappointed there was no graphics leap like in halo 4 but I had a great time with it.

Half_Minute_Hero3606d ago

I loved it. The darker story and isolation made it feel more "real".
