Where is the Remastered Version of ODST? Is it the Unloved Step Child?

ODST was refreshing because it was Halo but with a different vibe, in a different setting. It was a lot of fun. Remember though it was released in HD on 360 so if an Xbone version is made then sure it will look better but it's not like the 360 version has badly dated. But I'm sure this will be on the cards and deservedly so.

Maybe they'll release it new collection next year and call Halo: Chronicles Collection. It'll come with Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, Halo: Wars & Halo: Spartan Assault with a beta for Halo: Wars II.

I have a few friends who really enjoyed ODST and put it among the better Halos, I never really enjoyed it compared to the others for some reason it just felt empty

I liked ODST a lot, but the biggest issue with it however was they charged a full $60 for it when it was clearly just an expansion. Should have been $30-$40 max.

I liked dost as well. I was disappointed there was no graphics leap like in halo 4 but I had a great time with it.

I remember the write in a wall on the game: "Remember Reach", pretty cool easter egg.

The author is on drugs thinking Noble Six had more character than the chief. Noble Six is deliberately never referred to by name, unlike the rest of Noble Team, since nearly every aspect of the Spartan's identity is left undefined so the player can generate his or her own identity for the Spartan.

Gorgeous music and great cast of memorable likeable characters. Story is well told and although it's missions are unfortunately too short on the whole, replaying never gets old especially with skulls and scoring. I'd have preferred a more dynamic ai in the main night city hub ie enemy entering buildings is sadly missing, but that's the main quibble for me outside missions being generally short

Most people that reacted badly to ODST probably only did so out of disgust for a general shortness of campaign and no real myltiplayer, but played for what it does do well, it's actually very good. Trouble is people form opinions and refuse to back down from them. In truth we sometimes can't know for sure if we dislike something until we've experienced enough of it- people do though like to think they're always right. I made the same mistake of Bayonetta thinking it was pure nonsense both in theme and gameplay and boy did I get that wrong

Every single one of my friends hated on ODST, but I loved the atmosphere and dark tone it had. For some reason, I actually thought thought ODST had a better campaign than Reach since Reach didn't seem to draw-me in as much (to the story), but both games are phenomenal (in my opinion). Of course, Reach is significantly a better game than ODST (mainly due to the difference in Multiplayer and Firefight), plus quality.

I think ODST & Reach not being added in kind of throw a sourness to their legacies because they were already the red-headed step-children to spoiled fans. However, I loved them and I know there must be other fans of those games. I'd love to see HD versions...maybe on the next Xbox?

oDST was awesome but its called the MASTER CHIEF collection for a reason. Even watch the trailer, Arbiter is telling the new mystery character to learn every detail of chiefs story to find him. Unfortunately ODST doesn't involve Chief in anyway besides being moments after Halo 2

Won't happen, since the only games being remaster have Master Chief as the main protagonist.

That's why there is no Reach also.

i never really enjoyed ODST, but Reach was fantastic.

i think when Bungie knew that would be their last Halo game they pulled out all the stops.
