Xbox One SDK Tools Have Matured Since Launch, Games with Gold Has Potential

It's been a long ride since the launch of the Xbox One, though it hasn't even been a year since the console launched. Compulsion Games, which developed Contrast for the PS4 and PC before eventually bringing the shadow-play puzzle platformer to the Xbox One, recently held an AMA to talk about how the tool kit has developed as compared to when they first received it.

Xbox 1 SDK helps making development process alot easier, and games with gold will be similar to PS plus instant games collection, I'm happy for it.

Yeah I'm pretty happy that the SDK for both systems is getting better.

We are getting a game that hasnt even launched yet free! Gucamele! I was actually going to buy a Vita at one point and this game was part of the lure.

Yes, although it is a rerelease, the fact that its free exclusively on X1 is pretty cool. I now see why PS guys cant stop talking about PS+

Glad you see why a service like plus provides incredible value.

:)

Enjoy the game Guacamelee is a fantastic platformer. I already got it long ago for my Vita which is why won't pick up the turbo edition. Also please try their Mutant Blob games as they are a ton of fun as well.

Wow someone disagreed simply because they saw XB1. What a turd.

Awesome sauce for X1 owners, I'm glad they took a page from Sony and are bringing value back to being a gold member ( not say there wasn't value but it really wasn't much tbh). I personally hope the game selection gets newer titles though you can't go wrong with classics but newer games garner more attention from the masses.
