The Banner Saga 2 won't be released this year, developer Stoic has said.
The three-man team, which is currently working on a tablet version, said that it wants to release console versions before moving onto the second game in a planned trilogy.

"It would be great to be out in a year," programmer John Watson told Digital Spy last month.
"That would be ideal. It's roughly a timeframe, but we'll know more as the months go on.
"We'd like to do it as quickly as possible, but there's only three of us, and we're thinking about ports as well as planning the next episodes at the same time. It's hard to say when, we don't even know exactly when."
The duo said the timing of the sequel would have to make sense to recent players of the tablet and console versions.
