Check out the first 45 minutes of Valiant Hearts: The Great War on the Playstation 4.
Some of the game titles have only a good setting and partially repeat the real events of the past. At the same time, some projects are a rethinking of military events, political debates, and trade coalitions. Here are games that have a historical storyline.
That should be "Historical". To think that some peeps walk away with this interface as bing their history lesson. No wonder we have some real sad sacks with shattered realities.
Alex DS. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "Sometimes we all need a good cry. And while a good book or touching movie can do the trick, there’s plenty of video games with emotional narratives and motifs out there that can help work through some complicated emotions or just experience a sad story."
How is metal gear solid 3 snake eater not on this list? I was sad for days with that ending.

Viva La France! this a very interesting game. it a must buy for me.
This game looks so beautiful. And i still need to play Child of Light.
Great job by Ubisoft Montpellier.
Love this game so far. It's basic so far on the gameplay side but the storytelling and visuals really make it into an excellent beautiful, interactive story. Music is fantastic too, reminds me of Amelie. Very french inspired of course. I wouldn't get this game for the gameplay, but if you are interested in good storytelling and like the visuals you've seen I would definitely recommend it.
Child of Light has more gameplay than this game but both great games IMO and I hope we get more like them.
