Remember 99 Moves and 99 Bullets? Both are games that choose to skip storytelling, action and pretty worlds, and instead tap into that one thing that makes all gamers tick - our need to beat the game. EnjoyUp Games announced that 99Seconds will now also launch on the Wii U.The game was first released on the 3DS in 2012, maybe Wii U players will have more success with the game.
Today, Cosen released the 99Seconds Nintendo Wii U game in Japan. The game is available for 300 Yen in the eShop.
Pure Nintendo: "Admittedly, a game of this style is a much better fit on a handheld. But that doesn’t change the fact that this Wii U version is superior to its predecessor. With sharper visuals, better music, multiplayer support, and online leaderboards, 99Seconds on Wii U improves in many ways. If you have arcade sensibilities and like chasing high scores, 99Seconds is your kind of game. It’s a fun and polished download, well worth just $2.49."
"Time is a very valuable commodity. At least that’s what people say, but there always seems to be time for sneaking a quick little game of something between tasks. 99Seconds seeks to fill those blips in your life, and perhaps a few more, with a classic dodge ‘em style of gameplay.
The Wii U version of 99seconds is fundamentally equal to its DSiWare predecessor. As a clock ticks down from the titular time limit, the goal is to move your block character, V-99, around the screen, dodging an armada of black shapes coming from all directions in order to rack up the highest score possible."
