On the Mega Drive/Genesis was the ultimate version. Yes later releases had more but I haven't yet found them better.

I remember some classic matchs on that with the 4-way adapter.

The main reason I'd get Bomberman would be to play online matches, and I would think ppl in my position would just lean toward getting the WiiWare version instead of the full retail game.

I'll play you for sure, I don't need a disc lol.

That site has the wrong source. Hudson's website isn't www.hudson.com its http://www.hudsonentertainm...

Still good though. I can't wait. I love bomberman so I'll be buying the full fledged Wii Title.

Multiplayer on the TG16 genesis or snes was great back then. Depending on who you play it was all action or a chess match great fun. it's too bad lots of play will never play it because of the colors it uses. This game is ruthless! I'd rather have it on disk also, U can't remember but there is a bonus with the disk version.

Celebrating 34 Years of Bomberman

TNS: “Today marks the 34th anniversary of Bomberman on the NES and also the beginning of a long and loving relationship between Nintendo and the explosive franchise. Yes, it really has been that long. And yes, we do feel old because of it. We’ll ignore the fact that Bomberman also released two previous installments a couple of years before the Nintendo era, though. No, this is a celebratory article for both Nintendo and their fruitful bond with the long-running series.”

I seriously love this series

Super Bomberman R in particular is the only notable thing Konami release that’s worthy of mention in that last 2 years
