It actually plays more like an adventure game with a protagonist silently planning revenge. As a young girl Tokiko's father was a scapegoat and was forced to commit ritual suicide. Years later Tokikio is a grown woman and part of the Shogun's harem as a servant by choice. It's up to the player to manipulate situations with the other women, move up the ranks, and eventually settle the score."
