PS2Home: "This game was one that many were excited about, however, it failed to impress. The best thing about this game is the soundtrack - everything else is poor. Avoid!"
Zach writes: 'I love music-influenced video games. Nothing quite compares to slaughtering hordes of zombies to the sounds of Sabbath and Slayer, and nothing quite compares to gunning down street thugs whilst bumping some Boogie Down Productions.'.
Ever heard the saying “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”? Well here’s 5 games that have some of the worst review scores that we thought totally kicked ass.
NARC was sooo bad lol I'm surprised it scored as high as it did. It was some dumb fun though.
This article would be better if the author would go into detail as to why he would disagree with a review score. Perhaps articulate what flaws people have previously found with Manhunt 2 and then highlight some great gameplay elements that he feels made up for it.
If i had the ability to approve I wouldn't. I would encourage the author to go back and take a little more time being descriptive. Merely saying:
"Something about putting a plastic bag over someone and beating the living shit out of them was so satisfying."
Doesn't make the argument as to why the game is good. Anyone with a keyboard could plunk down a list of any five games with the same headline.
Half these games suck.
This blog is terrible --why do we keep approving rubbish like this from a wordpress blog?
These are not the worst games of the PS2. These are rated “mediocre” ranging between the 60 mark. The worst games are rated somewhere between 20 to 40. Manhunt got 67, this isnt “worst rated”, its mediocre. Dont you know the difference between bad and mediocre? Grow up you little attention wh0re
the memories....
To see ANY thing about this game resurface is so crazy. Wasn't a great game but the online was fun. If I recall correctly it came out at $50 but then a few weeks later dropped to $25 dude to all the negative news.
After watching Matt and Woolie from the Best Friends Zaibatsu play this, couldn't help but read the article. That surge of "street life" video games in the early 2000's...what a weird time it was.
