Well, I'm expecting the return of .hack. I like the Naruto games, but it would be nice if CC2 could make a new game in the series that made them recognition-worthy.

Fullbucket3623d ago

.hack, ah that brings back some wonderful memories. A new one would be bloody fantastic.

Summons753623d ago

CyberConnect2 will close its Montreal studio in July

Developer CyberConnect2 confirmed the incoming closure of its satellite office in Montreal, Canada. At the end of July, it'll be shutting down its only other office beyond the main one stationed in Fukuoka, Japan.

The Montreal office opened in 2016, 20 years after the developer was originally founded. Its statement noted that the second office "led CyberConnect2 on a creative journey in the development of tools and cutting-edge techniques used in creating games."

No mention was made in the developer's statement about if it will offer any severance or transitional help to those about to be laid off.

Yeeeesss!!!! I hope they vary up the dungeons, but I’m so happy this is a thing

MadLad430d ago

I wouldn't mind some cleaned up remasters of the originals. Those are the ones I have real nostalgia for.

shinoff2183429d ago

It was always mind boggling they released the .hack g.u. but never the originals. To this day I still never opened them waiting on the originals

FinalFantasyFanatic429d ago

I'd like the original games to be released again, I couldn't get into them the first time around.

BISHOP-BRASIL429d ago

Now I'm almost happy it was just a joke.

Terry_B429d ago

lol ^^ but 6 people downvoted my comment and didnt get that it was a joke as well since I knew it was a joke ;)
