Technical issues notwithstanding, the violently rewarding Age of Conan is one of the finest online RPGs available.
The Good:
* Mature, brilliantly imagined game world is a pleasure to explore
* Exciting combat keeps you constantly involved
* Many quests are powerfully written and have emotional impact
* Varied classes make both team and solo play equally viable
* You can tear a man's heart out of his chest and eat it.
The Bad:
* A large number of server- and client-side bugs
* Lacks noncombat activities that would help mix things up
* Various pacing issues and other minor flaws.

I give this game 6/10...Already Canceled my Subscription. First MMO i have EVER canceled before the initial free month is over. I even paid for a few months of Vanguard...
Its all instances (prob b/c it will run 360 version better) and it runs like POOP unless you have a EXTREMELY top of the line computer.
My freaking ATI Radeon X1900 XTX/Pentium D 3ghz/3gig ram 667 has to run it on LOW! (ATI cards are having a terrible time with this game its been reported by many players).
I think their so called "beta" was just a server test (even closed beta). Funcom should have been smart and Closed Beta'd like Mythic is with Warhammer. They close down the whole game besides a certain section and let everyone just play that. Which then kills all the goldfarmers and people hoping to find exploits a reason not to beta test.

His negative feedback was almost purely technical issues. It's an MMO in it's first month of release who's initial subscriber base is much larger than anticipated (what was it like 400,000 preorders?). Of course it's going to have technical issues. WoW still has technical issues from time to time several years after it's release.
