IGN: Climbing the Too Human Skill Tree Part 3

IGN have reached the top of the skill tree. Today they bring you the final four movies in this three-part series, delivering in-depth looks at the Commando and Defender character classes as well as the Human and Cybernetic sub-classes. With these videos from Silicon Knights, you should be set to make the call on which class you'll play through Too Human with first. And remember, even after you choose your character class there is still the matter of which sub-path you'll take. Decisions, decisions.

When NGII flopped, who were the first ones to put out a good review and videoreview defending the game? IGN. NGII is a X360 exclusive. When Haze flopped, who rushed to scoring the game lower than Blacksite Area 51 (a non-funtional game) and criticized the slightest things including the individual vehicle horn sounds? IGN. Haze is a PS3 exclusive. Now who keeps supplying these endless amounts of Too Human videos (another X360)? IGN.

There are already reports that this game is a flop. That Microsoft is already saying that WHEN, not if, WHEN it flops they won't drop Silicon Knights. And who's riding their horse desperately in defense of the game? IGN.

Anyone see what I'm getting at here? It really is what have you done for me lately, but there's some rotten journalism going that on that site these days!

Steve Ballmer5834d ago (Edited 5834d ago )

The game has been steadily improving as time goes on. Unlike NG2 which was obviously rushed in order to go against MGS4 (lol) this game isn't being pressured to fight a big PS3 exclusive.

power of Green 5834d ago (Edited 5834d ago )

NG2 did not flop its not even released in all markets so far, haze gets twice as worse scores and is actually flopping when you use the term correctly.

We will see if NG2 flops when it doesn't sell well which I doubt will happen Haze getting piss poor scores doesn't mean it flopped its just a bad game although Haze is looking like a flop based on sales.

Please help me block this troll from the 360 section.

FLOP:

*Flop, a slang term for failure...
*Flop, a box office bomb ...

1. NG2 is said to satisfy all action lovers or NG fans from almost every reviewer, how is that a complete failure?.

2. The game has only released in one market how is a box office Bomb? wait for the sales figures.

A flop is Most all PS3 games.

RazzerRedux1431d ago

Fun fact: I'm one of five people to have completed Too Human and actually liked it. It should be noted that the other four ended up in mental institutions....sadly.

excaliburps1431d ago

I completed it and kinda liked it. Controls were iffy but overall, I dug it. Shame Dyack was crazy. xD

IanTH1430d ago

Glad to hear it! So, when did you get out of the institution?

Marquinho1430d ago

Too Human was "The Order: 1886" of the 360.

Nitrowolf21431d ago (Edited 1431d ago )

I have never played this, mostly because I didn't own an Xbox prior to a few months ago Def. will check this out

darthv721431d ago

It certainly has a cool story and its a good game. it was just marred by long development time and kind of egotistical creator.

Looper1431d ago

Hey!! I was told survivors had all signed an NDA! I'm telling!

Kribwalker1431d ago

i really liked this one too. Always wished for a sequel, but sadly i don’t see it in the cards

excaliburps1430d ago

Yeah, it had a solid story and game mechanics. I remember the controls weren't smartly implemented, and every time you respawned, the animation was so long.

Fantangoooo1430d ago

I can't count the number of times I finished this game gridding for gear. Weird control but I liked it

Neonridr1430d ago

sounds very Polybius to me..

Poopmist1430d ago

Me and my friend beat it so many times. I got the best armor mathematically possible in it. Great game imo but their needed to be more tutorials on how runes work. The one that spawns singularities upon hitting someone was cash.

DerfDerf1430d ago

I actually really enjoyed it.

RamRod881430d ago

I beat it too. The controls were weird, but once I got use to them it was okay. I found the story to be actually half decent. Too bad there wasn't a sequel because I really believe if they have fixed the issues the first game had(controls, camera, etc), it could have been a great series.

HyperMoused1430d ago

I though it was great too, yay us

Anomander1430d ago

Beat it as well. it had a good story line. Overall it was decent.

glennhkboy1430d ago

I remember that I played the 1st stage. The control was so bad that I couldn't force myself to continue.

morganfell1430d ago

Fun fact...you're actually one of six :) That game was the reason I kept an Xbox 360 running until they released the very last B/C titles and it was among them.

Chronicle7801430d ago

I thought the game was ok, clunky but ok. Every time I go back to play it though it takes 20 minutes for the controls to 'click' again. Pity most of the advanced combos and controls aren't listed anywhere in the game.

Phoenix Down 87.0 – Too Human

Denis Dyack would disapprove.

darthv721679d ago

I liked this game. It has it's flaws but the story and mechanics are pretty good. It still holds up today.

Kribwalker1678d ago

i really enjoyed it when it came out.

It was free recently on xbox through BC. Id love to see this revived but sadly i think the legal issues would stop that
