5 Potential Gaming Sequels That Keep Us Up At Night

We Got This Covered wrote:

It’s nearly June, which means that E3 2014 is almost upon us. As such, with butterflies in our stomachs and anticipation mounting, we’re doing our best to help time fly by speculating about the games that will potentially be unveiled once the convention’s curtains open on the 9th. This has, of course, led us to thinking about the games we dream about at night when we can’t sleep, and has culminated in this very list.

Besides Fallout and Red Dead Redemption I'll sleep like an angel. Vanquish 2 I would like very much but the first one was just ok.

The story mode of Vanquish wasn't that great, but I always thought the game really shined in the tactical challenges. I would honestly buy Vanquish 2 if it was just a bunch of challenge stages and no story mode.

xX-StolenSoul-Xx3615d ago

It was a fun game and I won't argue that front, it was very fast paced and I liked it but apart from the story the only reason to go back was for higher scores, which was not really my cup of tea.

TheHip143615d ago

I liked Vanquish's story mode quite a bit. Going back for high scores isn't of interest to me, but its campaign was a blast.

It did become a bit frustrating at the end, though, being that I played it on hard.

Isn't this a better and easier work around?...

There is a partial workaround that adds the Fallout 4 launcher back  ;to the Steam Deck version of the game. Players need to add “SteamDeck=0 %command%” to Fallout 4’s launch options in the game’s settings on Steam Deck. But it’s wild and not great that players have to do this just to change visual settings while playing on Valve’s portable PC.

yup, worked for me a few hours ago

This update on PC kills mods, they still didn't improve or fix the draw calls and if you have an RTX card the game still crashes unless you turn off debris.
So if you mod the game it now looks worse, plays worse, all of your saves are broken and the game breaking bugs are still present.

Good work detective

Bethesda strikes again, always thought their games were a tad boring anyway, this was even before Microsoft brought them. Used to quake 3 team arena to death, on an old pc, at the time it was new, fresh, fast paced and innovative, their games these days, are none-of-the-above

Michiel19898h ago

Ever heard of a game called Doom or Wolfenstein, detective?
Also quake 3 arena was made by ID, which at the time wasn't part of Bethesda.

Yeah I've had friends rebuy the game because the ps plus didn't work and they used to own the last gen version sold off the physical after the PS plus pack included fallout when they got the ps5.

So overall I know ms has likely warned quote a bit from this error.

This game hasn't aged well. I was really looking forward to the update, but I'm just not enjoying it. I never did get on with the settlement building and raiders, and I still don't. I won't be going back to this now.

mkis0071h ago(Edited 59m ago)

Settlement stuff was way undercooked. Too many settlements and QOL updates are needed, and can only be added by mods...which disable achievements. The game does 2 things better than past games: Gunplay and scavenging.

Ha! They messed up the Xbox upgrade.

GamerRN15h ago

It's not messed up. This mode runs 60fps 1440p with ultra settings. If you want to see the other modes, disable 1440p somehow.

Ironmike18h ago(Edited 18h ago)

They have and they haven't just download 60fps and ultra setting mod and gane looks great

GamerRN15h ago

And Ultra Settings ... @1440p. It's working as expected. There is a star that states in the patch notes that if 1440p is available, quality mode will stay in 60fps 1440p with ultra settings.

Barlos15h ago(Edited 15h ago)

Surely not! Bugs with something from Bethesda? Get outta here!

Father__Merrin4h ago

I noticed that performance mode on or off both 60fps which is best mode to use then?

BeRich2334h ago

"On" does seem to perform better too me.
