NHL 15: Comparing Features on Two Different Generations

GoodGameBro writes, "While EA SPORTS’ NHL 14 may not have made the jump to the new console generation last November with the launch of the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, early feature reveals for the upcoming NHL 15 give us our first true look at the “generation gap” we’re likely to see between the debut “new-generation” console versions of the game and the “old-generation” version due for release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

As previously covered here at GoodGameBro, the update to the NHL 15 title site revealed a substantial bullet point list of features due for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game when it releases this September. By contrast, looking at the PS3 and Xbox 360 feature pages on the same title site reveals a much more stripped-down list."

I want to buy NHL 15 for my PS4 but i know NHL 16 will improve on everything...I find the 3rd version off every generation is the best product (most likely NHL 17)...

Day one for me.
I also cant wait to try it streaming to my vita.

I have ps4 and xbox one and still manage to play NHL 14 on xbox 360 with most of my time. I actually had NHL 14 for ps3, but i gave my ps3 to my nephew (like a good uncle) and after going 2 weeks without it, i had to buy it for my 360.

Needless to say, i am counting the days until NHL 15 releases (figure its going to release in September, though wish it was sooner).

I still think EA should've forgot about NBA LIVE on next gen and release NHL 14 instead. It baffles me that they didn't release it on PS4/XB1. My friends and I would have bought it.

This. Would have been a day one purchase for me.

Probably the NHL team told them they needed more time... But I totally agree... They need their priorities straight... Sports games :NFL, FIFA and NHL... If you have time and resources make a NBA game..

At least NHL 16 shipped as a complete product. Still waiting on goalies and d-men that act real. I have a feeling I'll be waiting several more years.

I went back and watched the whole series. And I don't even like hockey or hockey games lol Guy is real funny

Saving it all for next week perhaps?

RiPPn3250d ago

Since the Xbox One launch Microsoft sales have been garbage.. I have $30 expiring in 2 weeks that I'm probably going to have to spend on full price content because of how lame these sales are. Hoping for an Ori sale next week during E3.

Your $$$ do not expire regardless of your Live status. Just pay by the month, first month is a free trial before payments begin. Usually available through your PC, not the dashboard.
