Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare Hits PS4, PS3 on 8/19

For support-minded players, the popular Boss Mode feature will also be playable as a companion experience on mobile devices via the PlayStation App. Lastly but certainly not least, split screen co-op will be available on PS4.

Ever since we announced Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare at E3 last year, we’ve frequently heard the question: “When is PvZ Garden Warfare coming to PlayStation?” I’m ecstatic to finally be able to answer that question, as we’ve just announced that PvZ Garden Warfare is coming to PS3 and PS4 on August 19th, 2014! PlayStation fans will also be able to experience the Garden Variety and Zomboss Down expansion content from day one.

Glad it's finally coming to PS4... this is one game I've been looking forward to for a while. It looks like more lighthearted, but intense fun like Fat Princess was. I could go for a new Fat Princess too.

I played the hell out of it until Titanfall came out. Might go back to it in a little bit because it is so damned fun. You are in for a treat.

Pro tip: use the cactus like a marksman class in an FPS and you will rack up kills and defense points.

Its a great game glad you ps guys get to experience it. I play with all my friends in our mid to upper twenties as well as my 6 year old nephew. Even my gf. Will play and she hates games

All the DLC on xbox is free already, they said it will all be free. The split screen kinda sucks. You only get to play it in Garden Ops, and only one player gets to collect coins and level up their character. The 2nd player is just along for the ride. On the other end, good thing you guys get to join in on the fun, it's brilliant

Full HD on PS4 1080p 60fps vs Xbone Juan sub HD again 900p 60fps. Add this to the list of 1080p games on PS4 but sub HD on xbone Juan. Can't wait to play garden warfare. I bought this game for 360 for my family have not played it waiting for the best Quality version on PS4. I will get it for myself now. EA must be kicking themselves for making a deal with the devil for timed exclusives garden warfare and Titanfail.

Already played both on X1 and was never under the impression PvZ or Titanfall was an exclusive when your dealing with EA.

And that's why I'm not getting it. Good for those that wanted it, but I've known what the Titanfall experience entails ever since it was being overhyped by the media at E3, before release, and overrated by the reviewers at launch.

Lacks content, has performance issues, has bad AI. But it's fun for a few hours until you realise you're doing the exact same thing for hours on end with no variety. Definitely not a game changer. Definitely not something worthy of $60.

Plants vs. Zombies however, will always get my praise and my money.

you read it too fast. " exclusive on xbox one". between pc, xb360 and x1,the xbox one had the exclusive split screen. since they couldnt talk about the playstation version, saying it was exclusive was true back then.

Why should he care about the publisher or the developer ? if they cared about him and their ps fans they would have released it the same time on all platforms, since they clearly favor MS's money, why can't us favor gamestop and save us a couple bucks eh ?

I will buy it used too once i get my ps4, same goes with Titanfall 2, whenever that comes out, and every EA game.

You can buy sticker packs (which contain perks and costumes) however you can by these with in game currency fairly easy.

Only bought PvZ on X1 on the weekend so may get a refund and buy the PS4 definitive version in August.

Microtranctions havent hit yet. But its just to by card packs which open up customizations which are randomized. Which you earn quickly as is.n regular play. It wont affect the gameplay or break it. But yes great game

PlanetSide 2 can have it all. Except that's free-to-play :)

This is a really good game. It's actually pretty kid friendly as well but don't let that foot you. It is a real TPS. Really glad to see it coming so soon.

Is it really a smart thing for EA to be saying, "We listen to gamers who say they want games on the PS3 and PS4" when PS gamers have been asking for Titanfall?

Also have to ask what PvZ runs at on the 360 and XO. That its again a bad thing for EA to prop up 1080p/60fps if the other systems, which they launched the title on, isn't running at the same level.
