Can't wait for this game! 1.5 was awesome, though KHCoM wasn't my favorite. But one thing I'm not sure of is why Square won't release both games on X360.. Since KH3 is already announced for X1.

I hated CoMs battle system and the game was just the same thing in every world. After pushing through I said f it and went to platinum KH1

Minato-Namikaze3659d ago

Because nomura. He really doesn't like developing for more than 1 platform. If the suits didn't make kh3 anf ffxv multiplat, it wouldn't be.

Please please get a western release date at E3! Make it a worldwide release.

LAWSON723659d ago

You realize it is pretty confirmed right? It is on Amazon and they even had a survey

GenericNameHere3658d ago

I know it's confirmed. Ever since D23 last year, mang. I just hope we get a western release date. Preferably a worldwide release, rather than a 5-month delay like the KHHD1.5R was (March in JP, September WW)

LAWSON723658d ago (Edited 3658d ago )

High hopes there, Square rarely does same day release as JP in the west. Who knows maybe the dates will be a little closer this time, at least? Hopefully E3 has some news

Yodagamer3659d ago

I really hope it comes over to america soon. I would pay for it just to play Birth by sleep on the big screen and a better camera control.

BBS is gorgeous in HD on PC, it will be a nice treat for those who played it on PSP when this comes out

1/2, Birth by Sleep, and Dream drop distance skip the rest.

Chain of Memories and 358/2 have a lot of important stuff that lead into KH2. Otherwise you'll be Really lost at beginning of 2. You can easily find a videos of all the cutscenes of both games so you dont have to play through them all the way.

Wouldn't actually say Chains is necessary before going into 2 since you know just as much as Sora. While I do like a lot from 358/2, aside from a few things it's mostly world/character building Days came out after 2 anyway and would take a lot of mystery away. Maybe I'm just trying to simulate how I experienced the story but in that case I actually started playing 2 first lol. Cutscenes should be sufficient for sure.

I'd through 0.2 in there as well just cause it's so short and has a decent amount of information. What the hell did Mickey mean?

How seven mysteries help games develop worlds

There are certain recurring themes people can expect from video games intended to build ambiance, especially in RPGs. No sooner do you enter a new area or attend a new academy, then someone lets slip there are seven unsolved mysteries to discover. Inevitably, the main story or an extended series of sidequests sends you looking after each one. However, people may not realize exactly how extensive this story element is and why it is such a valuable inclusion in games.
