The Guardian Game review: Race Driver: GRID

You can rewind time for a short while (handy when you hit a kerb and take off), and all forms of motorsport are present, including endurance racing, open-wheel racing, drifting and "touge" street-racing (in Japan) and even stock cars. Makes the squeaky-clean, damage-free GT5: Prologue feel like Pole Position.

" Makes the squeaky-clean, damage-free GT5: Prologue feel like Pole Position".

GT5 looks like PP with some flashy paint. LOL

Forza 2 looks like San Andreas on the race track. Lawl

POG, have you played GRID? I mean you don't have to love GT5P. I myself prefer PGR4 and Forza 2, but GRID is pure sh!t really.

It looks great but is more or less unplayable due to the awful controls and punishing difficulty.

I don't want to waste my money on a demo

sorry

No this level of support came from looking at pics ;)

You don't like the way GRID controls thats not the way I feel I think the Demo had great handling even more so when using the *Over the Hood* view.

Try it a few more times playing it like Foza 2(over the hood view) gives it more wide handling due to the handling shifts depending on the view you're in. Thats the way the devs made the game the views themself shift the game to arcade to more sim like ontop of the other things you can tweek to make it less arcadey.

Well you have your opinion and I have mine the media and millions of gamers happen to agree with me although I dissagree with reviwers docking ponts from GRID due to the number of the cars in the game which is clearly why the games isn't getting 10's across the board when the cars it does have have been done so well.

Now if you played the PS3 version you'll think the game handles like sh*t by default because PS3 fans are use to the game doing all the work for them but in GRID the controls are anolog sensitive and PS3's controller simply isn't really built for complex gaming.

Try playing it Using the OVER THE HOOD VIEW and make sure you use the 360's anolog Sticks and Triggers like you would gas pedals and Brake pedals.

GT5: Prologue feel like Pole Position? lol this guy is a joke, what a loser....

SabreMan5824d ago

hardly he's making a valid comparison of the content in GRID compared to GT5P yes we all know GT5P is a demo but the comparison is valid.
GRID is also a very good racer with bundles of last ability, the full game of GT5 will probably be the pinnacle of motor racing on a console until then GRID is the best we have, on the ps3 atleast

calling someone a loser for an opinion is a bit silly

pot and kettle me thinks
