Welcome to part five of our Missing PS3 Titles series. In our latest installment, we examine Sega's paranormal First Person Shooter (FPS), Fifth Phantom Saga.
Nearly three years of silence has gone by since Fifth Phantom Saga's last showing. Is the game canceled? Still in production? PSU.com contacted Sega to find out.
Play looks back to E3 2005 and considers the big announcements (PS3 revealed, that Boomerang etc) as well as some of the games we're still waiting for.
eyeidentify gets released same with killing day im not sure it the the bottom picture is red dead redemption or not or maybe it was dirty harry 8deight days and the getaway 3 should be metioned also end of statement
i totally forgot about Ni-Oh....i was excited for that game...if you've seen some of Kurosawa's movies then you know what im talking about
Maybe Eyedentify will get revived as a Move title at some point? It would make sense as the camera could track the controllers for the minority report-ish stuff.
Both Eyedentify and Ni-Oh look interesting. Yup, would love to see more of Eyedentify played with Move...or a new game with a similar concept...
I'm glad Sony stuck with the Sixaxis/DualShock3 design, the boomerang controller looked awkward to hold. :s
that last one is definitely Red Dead Redemption. And Yeah Ni-Oh look like onimusha and I think it could be cooler hope Koei could bring it :)
I remember watching the announcement of the price for the PS3 and was so shocked that Ken Kutaragi started to blue and the ceiling started looking all pretty all of a sudden. It was one thing crammed next to so many people with the A/C a bit lacking, but with everyone sharing the same thought that was priceless.

me too. i wasnt worried about comfort because they would release it without testing that stuff. looked new and revolutionary.. then they showed the same ps2 controllers with no rumble lulz

You've got to admit though, E3 2005 was the best E3 of all time. Three big consoles revealed, and a million games announced.
German game site www.gameguide.nl posted today the ultimate list of 160 game tittles in production for the ps3.
Within the 160 tittles ,95 of them will be ps3 exclusive .

Man I cant wait to play untitled-action TBA series its gonna be sweet, did you guys check out the screens?

i hate when some of these video game gems from Japan never make it out of Japan.
there are lots of quality SNES RPGs that are as good as Final Fantasy that never made it outside of Japan. i found out by actually playing them through the SNES emulators with an english patch for some of these RPGs.
I don't know about you guys but I'm very excited about 'Untitled'. The graphics are great and the game play it simply great! I'm also waiting for Untitled, Untitled, Untitled, Untitled, Untitled and Untitled. With so many Untitled titles the 360 will have no chance! And the list is growing! At this rate the PS3 will have 1,000 new hot and sweet Untitled titles by the end of the year!
Which just means if the 360 had 160 titles, at least 95 of those would be xbox exclusive.

As an early concept and build of the game...it looked pretty interesting. I wonder if after 3 years and still in production what it might look like now...
I thought this game was cancel, so I just lost interest in it. But if it isn't then it might revive my interest in it if we see something soon.
So... been canned?
