A member from the maxconsole forum has uploaded videos of the In-Game XMB in action and trophy screens. There is one showing the in-game XMB being used from a game title screen and one showing it being used during gameplay. The videos and shots were taken from test kits with the 2.4 release of the dev firmware.
Backward compatibility works for many games on newer consoles, but titles such as The Simpsons: Hit and Run have been left out.
From base building to swinging willies, here are the best survival games around, which include a couple of less than obvious picks.
It turns out that many moons ago, Microsoft once had its eye on the Sony published LittleBigPlanet series.
Microsoft in a nutshell. Always tried to poach Sony employees, games, 3rd party games and devices like the depth camera that was turned into Kinect but was running on PS2 before Xbox 360. Wouldn't be surprised they wanted LBP. Just like they worked behind the scenes pushing the MLB to bring Sony's baseball game to Xbox instead of making their own.

They didn't spend years trying to develop their own baseball game. They wanted Sony's game.
They're scum.
"However, Healey said Media Molecule wouldn't have felt right doing that, adding it would have been "morally corrupt"."
Major kudos to Media Molecule for being an upright studio with principles.
Great, more stories like this please. Show the last of the zombies holding the line what we've been saying for years: Microsoft is anti competition, anti industry and has no interest in making games at all.
But hey, at least there's an Xbox Games Showcase to look forward to, right?
Well considering SONY just killed the series, LBP would've been dead by now either way. Though MM probably wouldn't exist by now either, so I'm glad they stayed with SONY, hopefully they don't get shut down any time soon or ever honestly.

BioShock is up and running. So this is how that EA employee knew about in-game XMB. He has the 2.4 firmware dev kit.

"Source: I am working with the dev firmware right now.
I can upload a small video of it in use later but it wont be high quality as I have taken it with my mobile phone.
If Sony will actually public release it with 2.4 is another question tho.
However videogame developers already have it in order to make sure that there are actually trophies available upon release and that everything is working."

Looks like we have access to photos and music in-game as well. No video access though.

When he goes to the music section you can see something is loading and when he goes to the photo something is attempting to load as well.
Anyone notice the game in the back ground is BioShock??
hmm.... Some reason that makes this all a lil fishy... Pun.
The second video didn't show the in-game xmb. do anyone else notice that? But I didn't notice the trophy
In game XMB looks good
the last video was ingame because after he left it you could see the game playing in the background. The guy was in the water with the plane burning all around. 2.4 is coming I say in the next 2 weeks or less. Before or on MGS4's launch!
