Publishing giant LucasArts has versions of LEGO Star Wars and The Force Unleashed, among others, available or coming to a Nintendo system near you, but the company has yet to develop a fully exclusive project designed specifically for Wii. That may be about to change, however, if an advertisement showing up on the back sleeve of the instruction booklet for LEGO Indiana Jones is any indication.
NEW YORK CITY — You may not know the name Ashley Eckstein, but you’ve heard her voice many times. The Hollywood actress broke out in the Disney Channel series “That’s So Raven,” but splits her time these days between voice work in television and video games and running her own female-focused geek clothing line, Her Universe.
Actress Ashley Eckstein, who’s married to former MLB star David Eckstein, has been keeping busy in the video game space. The actress voices Ahsoka Tano in Cartoon Networks’ hit computer animated TV series, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.” She’s also brought that character to life in a slew of Clone Wars video games, including LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Hero. Most recently, she can be heard in Sony Online Entertainment’s Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures MMO and the upcoming Bioware Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. She talks about Clone Wars and video games in this exclusive video interview from the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 convention.
WorthPlaying sat down with Vince Kudirka the producer for Star Wars The Clone Wars - Republic Heroes. Kudirka talks about the game at lengh, including how to use Cad Bane as a playable character.
hope it good as KOTR or Rogue Sqaurdon 1,2,3...
cant wait see screenshot and video...hurry up george...dont keep us from you !!!
Hmm not sure if it'll be exclusive but still more Star Wars games are usually a good thing ;)
If this ad is on the back of the PS or XBox booklet? Maybe it's only advertising for Wii and DS because it's from the Wii or DS version of Indy Lego.
Just a thought.
I for one am highly critical of the animation style featured in this upcoming movie. It has that nickelodeon feel. It reminds me of another star wars movie - Return of the Jedi - and how Lucas went for that kiddie appeal by adding the fuzzy teddy bear atrocities we've come to know as Ewoks!
You'll have to excuse me, but I don't think the subject matter is suited by this cartoony animation. I would have rather seen a star wars in anime than a star wars that was brought to life by spongebob animators.
