Nintendo responds to Wii Fit's heavy gamers

Nintendo has issued a response addressing heavy Wii Fit gamers who exceed the Wii Balance Board's 330 pound weight limit.

Very well said. Some people have just no control and over their younger years have been eating, and now is extremely hard for them to lose weight. If you're used to a particular habit all your life, its not so easy to just quit instantly. The best we can do is help them gradually take it slower, as apposed to insulting them, you useless @sshole.

Well considering that I used to be an overweight blob at 275lbs - I have walked in "their" shoes. There is a small majority of overweight people who can not genetically control what they eat but the rest of them are just plain lazy.

I am now 180 and believe i am in good shape - I worked my ass off literally to get where i am at and yes it took countless hours of exercise and a ton of self control.

But yes, put the burger down and eat a salad if you want to complain about a video game not supporting your weight. If you want to be fat, be fat and dont complain about it. I have little sympathy for overweight people as I was once in their shoes and know that its just plain lazyness. Put the burger, controller or whatever else down and get some exercise.

Actually that's not fair, I mean no offense to you if you lost all that weight, that's great.

I am not, and have never been over weight but one thing I know for sure is, you should never compare your shoes to the next man's, just because he has your same size doesn't mean you know how they fit.

I think for everyone it's different to just say your fat and it's because your lazy is not right, some people probably have a lot of reasons why they can't lose the weight, eating disorder, leg injury, unable to workout due to heart condition. Heavy smoker, suffering from depression.

I just don't think it's fair to say your fat cause your lazy.

honestly... 330LB is a LOT.. i'm about 200 myself. I'm not Tall and by BMI i'm considered MORBIBLY OBESE yet i am pretty healthy and fit.. i buy pants off the rack without having to alter them.. and i play sports..

but I will NOT play WII FIT.. that is a joke.. i love my wii but i have no space and will to play this 'game'

also if the weight limit is stated on the packaging and you can't read that then you my friend may have 2 problems..

problem 2: when you go to the beach people try to push you back in thinking your a whale..

You probably played these when you were growing up.
This is probably one of the reasons why you didnt excercise (much) because you were too busy playing Super Mario and Yoshi's Island!

all the parents can afford ARE cheeseburgers, but then again why raise a family when you can barely pay for decent food. Food prices are rediculous these days, not enough farming, over-grazing, amongst other factors contribute to the rise in food prices. Foods that probably would help you lose weight, but just can't afford those organic foods. EXPENSIVE? I THINK SO.
