"Just wait and WATCH" lol good one

Hk85karlsson3657d ago

That was right on time, like clockwork =)

ATi_Elite3657d ago

Downgraded HOW?

Gameplay or graphics?

DoctorXpro3656d ago (Edited 3656d ago )

graphics just like Watch Dogs, all you seen so far was pc, wait till you see how will look on consoles

ThanatosDMC3657d ago (Edited 3657d ago )

Lame. I want people to learn the map instead of using the place just like when you first spawn in Day Z.

Not really survival when you know where you're going.

In Day Z, i was actually using the sun and pole's shadow to figure out where north/south were.

BISHOP-BRASIL3656d ago

I get what you mean, but since when was Division meant to be a survival game? As far as I know it was supposed to be some kind of open world online (MMO?) tactical shooter. Even if it have survival and RPG elements, it's only logical for a tactical shooter to have a map.

Also, aren't the setting you play as part of a team sent there by homeland security? This mean FBI, CIA, military branches and quasi-military people (secret service, coast guard, board patrol, etc)... Would you really think such a task force would deploy anywhere without a map or whatever best orientation system they have available? Even more in a Tom Clancy game, you know they love their sci-fi military gadgets...

That said, even if I'm cool with a map, I don't want easy detection or anything like that... I mean, enemies blinking on a minimap if they stand out is fine I guess, not everyone use surround sound, it's only fair they have some way to get where the danger comes from, but let's hope it not one of those games where you can see where everyone is unless they have some stupid gadget to hide, than you'll need a stupid gadget to spot them and as those tend to escalate we'll end up with some stupid system to see enemies through walls...

ATi_Elite3655d ago

Wow that's really hardcore. "using the sun and pole's shadow to figure out where north/south were."

Just to think all the time I could of saved by NOT killing people for their maps or compass or searching for maps and compass.

I could of just used the sun's position.......wait a minute!!!!!!!!

What did you do when it was CLOUDY and Rainy! Also I take it you never played on a NIGHT SERVER!

DayZ Night Server with no night vision goggles now that's Hardcore

psyxon3656d ago

get out. so tired of reading people's negativity and immature comments. if you can't appreciate a game for what it is, then shut up and don't bother playing it. simple solution.

Zenith4k3656d ago

Hit the nail on the head mate, just play the game first than make your mind up

killagram3656d ago

Doubtful. Not being developed simultaneously for older platforms.

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

shinoff2183405d ago

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

-Foxtrot405d ago

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno405d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic405d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman405d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon405d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
