So, a few weeks ago I wrote an article on how I suck major balls at Dark Souls II. I think that some people are too quick to gloat about how incredible they are at a video-game these days, and far too big-headed to admit when they can’t quite get the hang of it. I’m one of those people that will admit their mistakes, however infrequent they may be, and use them as a learning experience. So here we have it, my second article showing the world how I fail as a gamer. I’m sure there will be plenty more than two articles, as I have a tendency to fluctuate between rocking at a game and sucking at a game.
Although the sequel is on the near horizon, the original Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen remains a fantastic action RPG, still worth playing.
Daman Shelley from NoobFeed writes - Dragon's Dogma is truly a one-of-a-kind game, and there really is no other game like it, but there are a few that come close. Whether with their fantasy settings, the ability to climb mountains, or just with the overall same charm as Capcom’s iconic RPG. Here's a list of games that will hopefully scratch that Dragon's Dogma itch.
I can still hear the title screen music in my head after nearly 12 years. Loved every minute of it.
I have no issues filling my time til DD2.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Infinite Wealth and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will probably me more than enough.
More terrified I won't be done in time.
Try not to burn yourself out before the game releases. This is going to be a long and immersive RPG like the first one.
The games in this article are all great and I believe the people who are excited for Dragons Dogma 2 probably already played most of those games.
For now, I recommend you prepare yourself for long play sessions if you will be picking up Dragons Dogma at launch.
Dragon’s Dogma achieved its highest concurrent player count in over six years over the weekend.
Excellent game spoilt by grindy combat and no fastbtravel the stones travel system was rubbish
I'm doing my part to contribute to this. Found out my pawn had been a busy bee while I was away.
when i found this game i loved it and played the hell out of it, got to the demon in the expansion and after feeling pretty good at the game he wiped the floor with me, fatigue set in, but i need to get back into this i think, looking forward to 2 for sure.
Dragon's Dogma can be a hard game to play if you play like a noob. Leveling up and completing side quests is a must if you even want to consider taking on some of the more dangerous monsters and the final battle with the dragon. I hope there's Dragon's Dogma 3 for the PS4, but who knows what Capcom is thinking. I guess we'll find out with RE7.
I wouldn't write an article about me sucking balls; but then again, it is a metaphor.
Just kidding, good article, btw and you're right: you do have to plan ahead in DD, and DS2 as well.
i thought DD was easy , i completed it with ease ...
but it is one of the best RPG games ive played since a lot o time , and most unique too
Dragons Dogma.
Playig whit your Pal and rented Pal from other players - Too easy, no metter the difficulty.
Palying using only your pal and in the hardest - Good, we have a something interesting.
Playing Alone, no pal and hardest - Yeah! thats what i'm talking about, the game is epic playing Solo! It get's easy when you have all the "overpower equips", but it's a very good chalenge util Mid Newgame+! A must play for Dark/Demon souls players!
Never completed Dark Arisen... That extra dungeon was way too hard for my poor underleveled character ( If level 80+ counts as underleveled...) But then again, ranged mystic knight is not the easiest class...
But what an awesome game. I had much more fun with DD than any game in the souls series.
