Kombo: Ubidays 2008: Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. Impressions

Kombo writes: "The Ace Combat series has dominated the aerial combat genre for more than 10 years. Would-be contenders have come and gone, all shot down with ruthless efficiency by Namco's seemingly unbeatable ace. So you'll forgive Project Aces if they aren't particularly worried about one more upstart threatening to burst onto the scene and take the sky away from their top gun. They should be worried. Project Aces' baby has never had to deal with competition on par with what's coming: a well-financed, sharply designed rival that draws just enough from the master to stay on its tail, and packs a powerful combination of brand power and authenticity under its wings. Tom Clancy's HAWX has Ace Combat in its sights and is lining up the lock-on. It's not doing anything particularly new or revolutionary, but it's doing many familiar things very, very well."

I remember buying Hawx2 back on PS3 after Microsoft bought exclusivity of Ace Combat6.

So to fill that dog fighting space I bought Hawx2, a very basic game that only had a gimmick of evasion that was overused if I remember correctly. I never even finished the game and still own it and my super slim ps3 so who knows I might pop it in one day and see if I can feel the need, I he need for speed.

Well, I don't know if it also works like this the other way around but here goes; When a US price is revealed, they just use the swticheroo and replace the $ with € sign. American price might just be $15 :)

RXL4327d ago

converted it and it's 18 bucks..rounding up...plus tax..it'll be around 22...25 dollars..

that's considering the dollar right now...

Sensu4327d ago

Wow, that would be bad luck for the americans. Sure don't hope the prices end up that high!
