Awesome more fully fledge games for the Wii ^^ plus Suda working with Fatal Frame is even better along with the main stays of the series! This should be a great one :)

The graphics make the game look like Fatal Frame 2

Not to mention I think the Sixaxis feels more like a camera in your hand when you tilt it up.

Night4ll5819d ago

There is no PS3 version in developement... it is a Wii exclusive... plus the six axis does not have IR how exactly would it make a good camera? I personally turn off six axis controls whenever I play PS3 games and I think this game is fine enough as it is on Wii...

solidt125819d ago

Yeah this would be cool on the PS3 with the Sixaxis. I wish they would stop being cheap and develop this game for the PS3 also.

The article did hint at the game play being changed and has focused game design to utilize the new Wii controller, to make the game even scarier.

You still have a camera and that's part of the storyline, but the article emphasized "horror by touch", so I'm guessing (purely my guess) you have to pick up a lot of things and it scares you by rumbling?
If there's a lot of interaction by utilizing the nunchucks, like using it to pick up stuff, opening doors and such, the game could be more engaging and scarier because you are actually doing the action...

Again, the nunchucks part is purely my guess, but I'm really looking forward to how they improve the gameplay specifically for the Wii in this one to make it scarier.

" I wish they would stop being cheap and develop this game for the PS3 also"

Its not about being CHEAP, its the concept which apparently suits best on the Wii( else it wouldn't be on the wii...get it?). Its all about DESIGN(and when people say " design " its not just about how it would look, but also how it would work).

Saying they could have used the Sixaxes....Maybe they could have...but this design would be more Flawed then using the Wii-mote.
Wii-motes have IR(...so you could AIM?), unlike the Sixaxes that only supports motion in 3d Space...

Now if you have some common sense even you know the Wii mote goes way better with this concept then the Sixaxes.

edit: it seems the one above me already pointed it out, my bad.

Such a shame that they never ported Fatal Frame II: Director's Cut to anything else. The added ending is by far my favourite.

darthv72595d ago

Call of Cthulhu and Cold Fear are both pretty good horror-esq games.

Orchard595d ago

The Thing was a great game back in the day. I would love a remaster or remake.

The NPC Trust system was amazing for its time

KillBill594d ago

One of the very few games that I would actually like to see a remake and deserves a new current gen upgrade.

monkey602595d ago

That's such a good list of games 😍

Fatal Frame 1&2. Its a horrible shame those two original xbox games never got backwards compatible for series consoles. Horrible
