Play the demo Live every day.
Here is my fun gameplay racing game rating:

5. GT5P - too boring, bad AI, this game is all about cars not racing. fun rating:2+
4. PGR4 - a bit too difficult for arcade, tight corners. medium sence of speed. fun rating: 3+
3. Dirt - total adrenaline. easy to play and great sence of speed. no multiplayer. fun rating: 4
2. Forza - very good sence of speed, easy to drive and fun. simulator means you just need to be more carefull of throutle, corners and brakes. fun rating:4+
1. Grid - a new king! GReat gameplay, even more fun online game play, damages, great sence of speed. fun rating:5

And all theose games have a great graphics. GT5P lead in car models. But fun gameplay more important to me then superior GFX or true simulator expiriense. playing videogames i want get fun and nothing else. Viva codemasters!

Now for one GT5p can't really be compared to PGR4, Dirt, and Grid because where these games are great for just playing and having fun...

GT5p is more about the real, as opposed to just playing around. (for example - if you want to know what it really feels like to drive a Ferrari 599 around the track - this is what GT5p does so well)

These other games you talked about are just that, games.. they are made more for the arcade aspect of racing. Where GT5p is based more on what racing is actually like. - So in my opinion that makes the comparison unfair.

Because yeah of course GRID is going to be more fun because it's more forgiving and you can do stuff thats not even possible in real life. Like taking turns at 150mph by just taking your foot off gas and then giving it gas once in the turn.

In Real Life you would be dead because the car would go flying into the wall... LoL (so yeah in that sense you can say it does not seem as fun as GRID but if your into the Real then it's amazing.)

And if you are into the real then GT5p is amazing to play and is some serious fun in a different way. Not on an arcade type feel but as a simulation of real life.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents on it... (sorry that turned out so long)
But yeah I love GRID especially that Formula F1 racing looks really cool, can't wait to drive the 2009 concept camaro that car looks amazing.

GRID looks just like BURNOUT

Boring???

theres nothing more boring that FUUUURZA 2

GT5P runs at 1080p at 60 fps and looks much better than anything on XFIX ME

Forza2/PGR4 ---games with plastic car at 720p at 30 fps. Looks more like wii games

GT5P has sold over 2.5m copies already . It will easily reach 5m at the end of this year
