‘Mad Max’ Pushed to 2015

Avalanche Studios latest project Mad Max had been previously touted for a 2014 release. Since it’s reveal not much information has been shared about the game.

Warner Bros. has finally released a new trailer for the game today which also revealed that the game will not be released until 2015.

Put it on the paper and you'll see that since the "next gen" machines were released, there are far more good games on PS4/XB1 than on PS3/360.

Games that tempt me (slightly) to buy an Xbox One - Dead Rising.

That's it. Nothing else I'm interested in. Don't get me wrong, over their lifetimes there will be a lot of games that I will want. As of now and in the near future there is nothing that is tempting me.

I've got a gaming pc, a ps3 and a Wii U, plus 3ds and Vita. There is nothing on ps4 and Xbox One that I NEED to have.

There is a serious drought of games in the new gen of consoles, it will be at least a year or two until they are a necessity for the average gamer.

There are plenty of games to play. People complaining just don't like the games that are out. It's called hyperbole. Its like listening to a child complain about something while making the issue much larger than it is.

We would all like MORE games, but it is the beginning of the console cycle. This time around there has been more games to play than 360/ps3. By far.

Kz, BF4, CoD, knack, and AC4 are all good games... Warframe and DCUO have taken up a bunch of my gaming time since November, so I really don't know what this guy is complaining about.

PS4 has 12 games(probably more) releasing in May including The Show, Watch Dogs, Bound by flame, and Wolfenstein. Please show me last gen's lineup for May of their first year. It was barren compared. I can only listen to people complain so much before I have to call them out DoctorJones. I have no idea where you got your degree.

I can play BF4 on my pc, I can play Cod on my pc, I can play AC4 on my pc, I can play Warframe on my pc and I can play DC Universe on my pc.

There are pretty much zero games I can play on a ps4 that I can't already play on my pc.

EDIT:And there's a difference between listening to complaints and understanding complaints.

EDIT2:Knack and KillZone also aren't games that make me want to take the plunge. If they were amazing games, then sure, but they aren't.

Sometimes people need more than a couple of games they might be interested in before they part with nearly 400 quid.

I've been thinking about a Mad Max game for so many years. What I would want in it..More rather, what it needs to have in it for it to live up to what I feel a Mad Max game should be. I have my doubts they will get anywhere close to what I've been imagining if the game was to ever come to be.

I'm sure most people who follow video game trends expected this. It only makes sense, considering the competition they'd have this year. Watch Dogs will be huge, and it's widely believed that GTAV will drop for PS4/X1/PC this year as well; this holiday you have another COD and Assassin's Creed to contend with. If you're trying to launch a new IP, that ,compared to Watch Dogs,has gotten pretty much ZERO press so far, it would be crazy not to delay it.

delay after delay wtf ?. What is going on in the future of gaming. Iknow ps4 games is difficult to do more than the last gen but what happends in the future when year after year the games will be better ?, better graphic. You cant delay a game all the time. Make more people helping doing the game in time...
