Crytek on Warface Xbox One: "Once we've launched, we might start looking at other things."

Gamereactor asked senior producer Wim Coveliers about the possibility of getting Warface on Xbox One.

"When you work in the video games industry all platforms are always in your mind, but we don't have any plans for it right now. So we want to focus on making the Xbox 360 [game] that product it needs to be and the success that it deserves to be and so once we've sort of established that and once we've gotten something that's good, once we've launched it, we might start looking at other things."

Thanks captain obvious for letting all us Xbox owners know that we needed xbl to access the game, I don't know what I would do without such valuable info /s. Really that statement is as bad/old as the "superhyperultraremix perfect edition street fight4" line. Troll elsewhere. I pay for live and have been since day one and I'm proud to say it.

Did you pay for Warface? Did you drop 60 extra dollars for it like you would a regular game you buy digitally or at retail...No? Oh so you got it for free right?

You also had to pay for internet just to connect to Warframe right? I guess by your logic its not free on PC either since somewhere and some how you paid for something to get it.

But it's a paid service, just like HBO as you mentioned. You pay for Live to access these and other services for the Xbox console. And guess what, you also get to play Warframe for free.

Excuses, excuses. Meaningless really.

These applications that are Internet-enabled, are of course dependant on the Internet. They are not, however, dependant on Microsoft's premium network.

Netflix, heck even Internet Explorer (lol) requires payment to access on Xbox. They don't make you pay for it on that PC you buy. Just why, and how can you begin attempting to justify a premium IE?

And there's not even an option to buy any one of these apps outright, like on any other App Store. You have to pay to access them every year(!!). We've been through this so many times, and the excuses just keep on flowing.

1) Facts are not excuses.

2) Unreasonable anti-consumer policies are not non-issues. You have no choice on the matter.

3) I don't believe "us Sony fanboys" have ever complained about having non-gaming features on consoles. It's the focus and attention that goes towards them that is the talking point.

4) You can access Netflix without subscribing to PS+, as you should be able to.

5) Making common sense observations does not equate to "switching up arguments". There goes another excuse from you.

No, your excuses keep on flowing. You Sony fanboys are so adamant on keeping this tired and stupid argument going. If you don't want to pay for Live to access Netflix then watch it on your PC, sell your 360 and get a PS4. If it's that big of a deal.

But then you will have to pay for PSN to access the multiplayer features and then pay for a Netflix subscription so guess what...WHO CARES where these apps are placed when no matter what you'll be paying for something every year.

And isn't the point of these consoles for games as you and your fellow sony guild always like to yell about? Why you guys always like to switch the arguments up with features like Netflix or Hulu is very fanboy convenient and such a non-issue, it's hilarious how much YOU keep that flame burning when it suits you.

I played this game on the 360 (beta) it wasnt that good. it actually sucked.
