IMHO
The three extensions that NEED to come with firefox as standard are:

Adblock Plus
Adblock Plus: Element hiding Helper
Adblock Filterset.G Updater.

Upon install those three, and setting filterset.g updater. I have not seen an ad in a very long time if I can recall.

I think it even blocks Google AdSense ads too

yeah those are definitely good ones, i also use noscript, littlefox, googlepedia, and forecastfox

I don't know why the writer loves those low-profile (and porbably low-quality) addons...
The BIGGEST time saver in firefox is Adblock Plus.

Never heard of Hyperwords it looks kind of cool. Anyway I use Adblock Plus, DownThemAll!, Tab Mix Plus, and NoScript.

The moment those are updated for Firefox3, I will start using them again.

edit: I take that back, only tab plus mix doesn't work for me.

none of these are compatible with Firefox 3

ice_prophecy5830d ago

Give it a month, they will be ported over. Firefox2-Firefox3 is still in transition.

Also, the extensions mentioned above all work with exception to a few.

I'd really recommend that you try some of them :)

whens the release date for firefox 3?

ice_prophecy5830d ago

The release candidate is already out. The major extensions already work with firefox3.

I am currently using it. Its working pretty much flawlessly.

It only crashed once when I forced an older extension to run.

They should add to that feature "Send to N4G", that would save allot of time.

Keep in mind that regardless of your stance or interest in this, be it good or bad; the ToS agreement makes it so you can't leave negative reviews once accepted.

Hence why I posted video so people can watch and make up their own minds and I will reserve my final thoughts until the final build.

Wtf, that alone would make me not try this crap at all. As if they can even have that much control over people lolz

Star Citizen showcases the creation of the two brand-new animals coming to alpha 3.23

Land on any planet in Star Citizen currently and you’ll be greeted by things like weather patterns, flora, and very possibly a derelict or two. What you won’t find are any animals, however. That’s going to change with alpha 3.23’s release, as CIG has finally put together two animals to populate certain planets. That’s not quite three, but it’s more than one!

Two brand-new animals? Fantastic. This game should be ready by the time the Vault Dwellers come out from their Vaults Two Hundred years after the Apocalypse.

Any minute now...
