Taion Review: Goin' Downtown

Goin' Downtown is visually compelling adventure with some funny and good ideas concerning our future in general. The story is nothing new at all, rather builds on all the established film noir clichées, but is delivered without any boredom whatsoever. The voice acting is alright, the cutscenes are few, yet well-exercised, and sometimes the developers pay hommage to Monkey Island, letting you beat some opposing foes through dialogue choices only. You do remember the famous insult duels, right?

The only problem with Goin' Downtown is its shortness, especially combined with the (very good) help function, which you could also call a walkthrough on demand.
